Less parts to handle. Cheaper. The machinist would much prefer to set up one large block.

Yes and No...We will also be doing a very similar design with longer runners and smaller plenum with injectors in the stock location for people that don’t want to 1000+ hp but would enjoy some serious gains. It will mostly likely have a downward facing centered throttle body as I would like it to work well for NA applications as well. There are so many options that it is difficult to nail down a clear path. This particular intake has an 8+ litre plenum volume and will use a 90mm throttle body with approximately 6 inch runners. The old Max Psi M3 is getting a new manual transmission of some sort. The bottom mount turbo is being swapped out for a 76mm unit and the intercooler and cold side piping will be 3.5 inches. I am going to turn it up. I will be looking for someone to do same day or next day testing back to back testing with the mild version, this person will of course get one hell of a deal on their manifold.

Looks good — I like it, and hopefully will like it more after I know how much it costs and the power losses and gains across the rpm curve.

With that design, does the OFH have to be relocated still?

The CFD on the runner was great right out of the gate. CADMASTER was impressed. Big power to come.

Yes, you will have to relocate with the race manifold and maybe even the street manifold. We are working on a very affordable solution for the OFR kit, that will be offered with the intake at a reduced price. I knew what I wanted to do with the runner as far as shape, sizing, and taper. The filter housing is in the way, period. I could bring a product forward that had a great amount of bling, didn’t perform well, and would generate profit. I want it to perform very well, generate fair profit, be affordable, and sleep at night knowing I did the right thing by selling a product that I believe in. I have had a few theories on these engines that have been proven by various members over time and hope to continue that path. 1100 first and then working toward 250 horsepower hole and beyond.

I’m thankful for the positivity, I need it in my life. BTW I want to reduce the number of pieces on this manifold, the CADMASTER like pieces though.

Unlike all other previous, chump, intake manifold makers, you plan on doing some dynos with an M50 manifold VS you’re new, awesome manifold, right?

I believe it will be tested on at least 2 cars. The first vehicle is known by the community and has been spitting out consistent 800+ rwhp for years. The second is being completed now and will be 900-1000 rwhp. This is a short- runner, large plenum deal and it should perform on most combos, but I really want to see what it does above 7500 rpm.
This platform has a lot left, but people just keep doing the same thing, over and over and over again...

Another interesting thing is the designed operating efficiency of various components. In my application, I've got 2 torque swells and a peak HP point that are so unique, it's like 3 different pieces have peaked at different points. My guess is that the plenum, intake runner/ports, and camshafts all have their own peak operating range. They say that if you get all 3 lined up, you get a killer package....but I'm not sure a torque spike like that is usable unless you are running a converter or really closely stacked gear ratios.

That doesn't really seem to be part of the plan. Does it?
