Same here. The wheels are perfect. Just need the right tint.
Paul called this morning. We figured out the harness is wired correctly. My confusion was due to the fact that the harness wires are incorrectly labeled in some instances. They just used wires marked as left rear pos and neg but were not actually pinned into those wires on the car side. So one rca was tapped in correctly and the other was tapped to ethernet wires for coding lol. Will try again this eve. Too stormy to drive it anyway. Big thanks to Paul for figuring that out.
Forgot to update. I correctly hooked up both rca outputs from the nbt. Nothing changed though. The volume of the sub still doesn't increase after about 1/3 of the way up. But at least it's starting to sound decent. I turned the bass all the way down on the tone settings as well which helped the distortion a little. So now as long as I keep the volume fairlyou low, it sounds pretty good.
Powdercoater said test wheel should be done today or tomorrow as well. Can't wait to see it!

My powdercoater has the first test. The center section of the wheel. The barrel and center cap are still bare brushed with no clear. I told him to go ahead and put a second coat on and then I will decide between the two. The first shot he took and the last I took in direct sunlight. It looks good but I think it could still be a tad darker. If too dark, I will stick with the single coat of tint.
Also racking up the mileage lately since the truck engine has suffered some sort of oil issue in the head. Will pull it and have a look soon. Just driving the V70R when it rains.

It looks cool with that classic silver center, you can use that color on Rim and for with few shades darker on Hub

It will all be the same shade/color no matter how dark or light I go.
You driving with DSC issue? Or you turned it off in purpose?

Always hit sport and dsc off whenever I leave the neighborhood.
Tires still look great at 3k miles. I don't drive it that hard but the dsc is so sensitive that I can't stand driving with it on most of the time. It kicks in so easily when it's really unnecessary.
I wonder if any of the boffins have figured out how to keep the DSC in Easter egg mode. (Keeping the brake control and shutting off the power cut.)

Put the Mpars back on. The powdercoater did a second coat but it was still too dark for my liking so sticking with the single coat as shown in the center section pictured. You can really see the contrast against the unfinished center cap. It's very subtle with the tint but that's why I like it. Just enough to knock down the brightness. And this photo is in direct sunlight. They look even darker in the shade.

Have had an annoying back seat rattle that goes away when someone sits in driver rear and finally took the seat out to find it. Was a clip on the seat belt retractor that had fallen off. I decided to go ahead and paint the map lights black and tried out the monsoon rear speakers. They sounded great but really are necessary when you have a sub even if mine still doesn't get very loud. Also finally painted the child seat anchors black. I plan on getting the tint removed soon and hopefully the wheels will be done before long which will finish off the car for the two publications.
I spent this evening removing the airbags from the E53 4.6is since we have been having issues. Replacing with springs and got the passenger side done. Hate airbags!!

All finished and it looks so much better IMO. I ended up having to remove the rear parcel shelf and C pillars to get the back glass perfectly clean but it was well worth it. Steamer was absolutely worth buying and I will never pay to have tint removed again!
Brandon did you get your pic/info measurements in the "separate" post with the typo on your name?
