Still being built. Pistons were finally shipped yesterday. Hoping the car is painted in a few weeks.
I think the time may have come for me to list the M7. I may put on BAT but if there is any serious interest, you can message me. The price would be significant though..
What! That is sad news, but I kinda get it. With all your other projects I can't say I'm surprised.

BAT accepted it. Getting a few things buttoned up then probably live in 2 weeks or so.
Can't wait to see this on BAT, but sorry for seeing you leaving.
It's ok, I'm either going to get another e39 m5 or e38 as a DD.

I'm focusing my efforts on Japanese stuff which is where I started. On the hunt for a clean 83-85 dr30 nissan skyline RS turbo. But I still want a decent BMW for work commute.

Dropped the car off with BMW. They are keeping it indoors overnight and fully covering the seats before working on it. We went over the car so they know it's flawless when it got there lol. New windshield, drip rail covers, new slightly larger 245/275 AS3's with alignment so it will be flawless for the next owner. The M AS3's on the M pars now are 10-15 years old!
Good choice on 275’s for the rears. Good to see someone thinking off the box on e38 m-pars

Your current situation is not your final destination
BMW got the wrong windshield. Luckily I had them do it instead of my glass guy because they already ordered the correct one which arrives today. It was a few hundred more too so they ate the added cost.
Hope they installed it properly, so many horror stories about windshields here, including mine. But if anybody they should have the proper spacers and gap adjusters, that's what the ordinary windshield guys are usually missing. You will know it immediately when you reach 70mph
I’m willing to bet Brandon reviewed the installation with the dealer lol.
The first one I got was $1400 so I assume this one is about $1800. And yes, that includes all the spacers and strips etc that they need. I even had them replace the drip rail trim since one side was slightly damaged from the concrete chunk that hit me. From my understanding, most people have trouble with aftermarket glass in these cars and by using the dealer, they will have to fix any issues at their expense so now I definitely feel better about spending close to $2k on a windshield/install with them.
