Haha. That's not wear. Just stain from jeans. It comes off easily enough but I dont like to clean too often to prevent wear.
Thanks! The kit is designed for a stock M5 engine. I could run more boost with lower compression and forged rods but I didn't see the need with this car. Once you start chasing power levels, you will never be satisfied. I wanted this cars performance to be similar to the 07 E63 AMG I sold last year. But with the 3rd pedal and BMW styling/handling.
Can you tell me what model BMW did you get the NBT touch pad? I want to upgrade my navigation unit with something later than the MKIV nav unit. I have also looked into Alpine head units but there would be a gap and the screen you have fills up the space perfectly. Any information you can provide in my search is most appreciated. BTW, your ride is sharp!!!
The only thing missing is a picture of me trying to pick my jaw off the floor...well done sir well freaking done!

Thanks!!
The second shoot by Mike Lee was insane. My favorite photos ever taken of all my cars. I want to find out when the publication will be out first before I post.
Rolling shots by Greggory May. He has a slick rig mounted to the back of an STI. It has working suspension and remote control to pan left/right.
Man, this car is so beautiful. Enjoy it in good health.

Gorgeous all around.
Any video of her running through the gears???
But... in a few pics of the steering wheel leather it looks a little shiny. Damp microfiber cloth with a couple drops of dishwashing liquid should clean it right up and leave clean, matte leather to grab.
After that, perfection
Nice! I added a comment with the pic of your Estoril one when you had it, as there can never be enough pictures of beautiful E38s!
Enjoyed the article. Petrolicious should do a video feature of you and this car!

Thanks!! They want to do some more features on some of the other stuff I have built too. And my dad's Z collection. Exciting stuff considering how amazing the site is. Andrew who wrote the article had DM'd me on Instagram about the E38.
Here are my favorite photos from the shoot. All photos by Mike Lee. Huge shoutout again to Trevor Summers, Paul Martin and Brian Marks. Still loving the car as much as the day I picked it up too!!

I am ordering 3 sets of v bands and having my friend do a muffler delete. This way I can go back to silent any time I want with about 15 min of work.
No more sleeper?

Why not some electric cutouts?
I will have both options this way.
Not enough room and too expensive. They also seem to have limited reliability over time. With the car on my lift, it will be very easy to swap at any time. I have stopped driving it to work as traffic has been getting much worse lately.
BC Forged did a gallery feature on their site Same pics as the Petrolicious feature. There is a shoot for another publication set for this Sunday.

For sure! Not sure why traffic started getting so bad (lots of rear end accidents) but soon it will be time for the car to hibernate on the lift for winter anyway.
