IMHO, your front clip looks great stock. The wheels give it this slightly aggressive, yet not over the top look. Something M5-ish up front would wreck the balance. Just MO tho!

Dang, I wanted to see the output, not from the LEDs, but from the mm projectors and the cbb if you bought them.

Wrong it's not the ACS spoiler over e38 front bumper
It's a m5 bumper converted to an e38..minus the fog lights..he kept the e38 lower grill for some strange reason.

It absolutely appears to be a cover on the bottom portion of the bumper. You can see how it's larger than stock below the trim.

I have always wanted a Ferrari and the Kean suspensions 308 GTB has me going ape. My birth year too! My wife said she would be down if I wanted to sell the E38 in order to buy a 308 so I may actually list the 7 on BAT.

I will think on it for a week since I tend to get over excited about stuff like this but the key is that it's the first car I have showed the wife where she was ok with me trading out the E38 for..

Cleaned up the wheel wells a little. Put the M pars back on so I can get new rear tires and all 4 of the BC Forged balanced. Interior is holding up great for 10k miles/18 months.

I decided against selling the car for a Ferrari even though I have a hell of an offer on the table. Even the guy who wants it told me I should keep it but mainly it comes down to 2 things. My wife loves it and also every time I drive it, I am blown away by just how perfect it is.

That's fantastic, very few of us have our car exactly where we want them. I still have a laundry list I need to do to mine lmao.

It feels very weird to me because I have never had a "perfect" car before. There is always something I am chasing or wish I could change. Even the 34k mile E63 AMG annoyed me with the noisy pano roof and something about the air suspension just wasn't quite right. The only thing that still has me thinking though is some sort of electronic diverter or my plan to put V bands on the rear exhaust so I can at least experience the sound of the S62 some time. I very much enjoy the quiet power but I also know how good the S62 sounds with a simple muffler delete.

Not sure what the heck BMW used but they put something on one of my wheels that etched away the clear. I took this before photo the day before too. Zoomed in to the problem area before and after. I sent them an email so will see what happens. So glad I took before pics the day before with time stamps! I never use anything but soap and 5 stage water on my wheels. And I always dry them. Whatever they used ran down and pooled on the lip removing all the clear.

Why was it at BMW? Am i the only one that hates dealer service centers? My buddy took his e70 for airbag recalls and they did not reconnect the antenna for the radio or the glovebox...

There is a guy there who everyone with exotics takes their cars/wheels too. I literally took the wheels off the car which is the only reason I am ever there. I won't even let them do my airbag since they won't let me just bring in the steering wheel. If this is how they treated my wheels, imagine how they would treat the car..

Since your wheel was swapped with am e39 facelift steering wheel, will they still honor the recall?

They will based on the serial number. It's too much of a liability for them not to.

How do you book an appointment for the recall if its based off of VIN?
