Just ordered a set a couple of weeks ago. I will let you know when I get them installed.

Images of the Lseat covers that I installed yesterday. Wrinkles look more pronounced in the photos than in person. They are also going away with time, and I just installed them yesterday. So I figure in a few weeks of heating/cooling and use they will be about gone. This is not a job for the faint of heart. 9 hours from start to finish. I have the proper tools, a nice shop to work in and years of sewing experience, so I was not completely inexperienced. PAY ATTENTION to how the factory seats are put together and how the leather is attached. Take photos, it will help you with the new covers.

Keep in mind: If you have heated seats it adds a whole new level of complexity to this as the heaters will need to be pulled from the OEM seat covers as they are sewn in. It took me hours with a seam ripper. Then I needed to figure a way to install them in the new seat covers. I ended up using fabric spray glue and installed them to the foam seats. This prevents you from using the mid seat and mid back cross mounting points to give you the tuck and roll look. You only use the sides. I think they still look good, but you just have to be aware of this.

Also note. A steamer is mandatory. Steam the foam and then spend quite a bit of steam on the leather once applied. This will dampen, soften, and remove wrinkles. When the seats dry out the leather will tighten and better form fit. Hog ring pliers and new rings are also mandatory.

So your advice would be to buy the set and take them to an upholstery shop?

Had I known, it would have been well worth a couple of hundred to pay someone else to do it. But it is done now and looks great.
