I looked all over google I felt this would be a common question but didn't find enough info.
I ordered headlights off eBay ,they seem to be the spider brand , they are listed as fitting my year but the harness clearly has an extra pin that seems to run to the top led strip I could live without but none of the lights seem to work other then the blinker .
From what I was reading online after the facelift they updated to a 7 pin harness how would I rewire this to work ?
Also the halo lights I found can be wired into the main wiring box but I was considering running them to the low beams that wouldn't cause any issues would it ?
The issues are only as expensive as the performance parts we choose to replace the old ones with

No idea why that link is so long
That's the lights, I didn't buy from that seller but they had more photos of the lights on their listing .

The description for these headlights is hilarious, it's worth reading through it for a good laugh.
Can you get to the headlight adjusters without going through the wheel well access panel?
Are all the bulbs installed?
To answer your question, I don't know what the extra pin is for, but if you looked at the schematic, that should give you a clue.
If I had or could find one that would be great.
Yes bulbs are installed tried both headlights as well.
Not sure about adjustment trying to get them to light up first
And iv got a pair of these headlights in a e90 and they have been great no leaks going on a year

After getting the site to work messing around with Java settings it only has the same diagram I had found and thought was the wrong diagram, it doesn't seem to be a harness diagram , I may just be miss understanding it .
I also found this list of a xenon diagram but my car didn't come with xenon headlights and the seller sates the lights do not work with cars that have factory hid installed .
If anyone knows or could point out the wiring difference in pre face lift vs face lift wiring.
Also was the face lift in 2006? Most headlights I see for sale list 03-08 I have even seen a old post from a member having a pair of the same headlights for sale stating that the lights worked with 6 and 7 pin.

I am going to assume the OEM lights are not Xenon.
These are for non-Xenon lights.
You all never seem to have enough time to do the job properly the first time, but you always seem to find the time to do it a second time......... ME
Yes mine are oem non hid . I think the hid units have 8 pins

I made a mistake and uploaded the wrong versions. The one's uploaded are for MY 2006 cars. I now see you have a 2003.
I will post the correct diagrams when I get home from work.
