    Lol.
Ugh I agree we talk too much. I haven't made a video in a while cause of lack of progress and also I wanna make it more about the work/parts. it's hard cause usually I'm alone and I don't even have a gopro or small camera.

Makes sense. Now that I know it's you, I'll probably watch the whole thing now lol.

Here are some basic plans thus far. They are obviously subject to change like everything in my life but this is sort of a guideline:
-Install Xcessive AC delete bracket and turnbuckle style tensioner
    -Delete DBW with Driftmotion kit
-Install oil level sensor delete plate
-Seal upper and lower pan with FIPG
Install oil return hoses from modified set up
    -Install Collins adapter and flywheel
-Mock up engine and trans and have my fabricator make me a trans brace
-Bitch and moan about my driveshaft not fitting even though I already know it wont
    -Buy 1 piece DS
    -Route fuel hoses
-Acquire MegaSquirt 3x and have my buddy make my harness
    -Get it running
    -Use 36" LS1 cable (thank you Press22)
-Plumb IC piping and install BOV
-Fab down pipe and exhaust 3" SS

I was at the shop dicking around and decided to start mess with the heater lines. Since I deleted my heater core, I will need to cap the heater inlet and outlet. I am not fond of capping anything on the cooling system. But after a discussion in the fb page "1jz and 2jz Powered BMWs" I will attempt to run them capped. It is to my understanding that this will act as if the heater is "off" so the heater core valve will not be open. I was going to route it so it bypassed the heater core but I'd rather cap it. When I get the engine running, I'm going to use a laser temp gun and see if cylinder 5 and 6 are running significantly hotter than the others. If so, I'll just route the line to the water outlet. Any suggestions?

And here's a nice pic of the daily and tow rig

2jz parts from Driftmotion came in. Rear sump pickup, gasket, and DM oil level sensor block off plate. Not sure if I mentioned this but I found out my lower 1jz pan (the one I'm using on the 2jz) is modified. Whoever did it did a very good job cutting and welding. Should be getting a new lower pan today from a buddy, then it's time to seal the oil pan and focus on getting the engine in the car.

The lower pan has a section cut out of it and welded to clear what I think was some sort of crossmember. Not entirely sure. The baffle was also cut. Luckily, my buddy's friend had a rear sump set up laying around so I snagged it. The bottom end is all sealed up with FIPG. I ordered some blue textile reinforced high temp hose for the oil return lines to the pan then I start saving up for the Collins adapter plate and flywheel. After I get those ordered and installed, I'll get a new clutch disc (unsprung) and start modifying my DSSR, trans mount, and DS.

In terms of driveshafts, I think I'm going to have my buddy (profession fabricator) cut a section out of the front shaft and weld it together. I understand it won't be balanced but it'll work for the time being.

Just got my 5/8" Blue Textile High Temp hose for my oil return lines from the turbos. This stuff looks promising!

So after buying 5/8 hose and then 3/4 hose, they were both too small for the oil return tubes. I sourced out oil rated 7/8" hose and it fits perfect. Although the outside is silicone, the internal material is rated for oil. Actually meant for turbo oil return for an older Cummins engine.
