Hi mbrs,
I need advise. After replacing my CCV system(not cold weather) on a '01 325 XiT w/181k (second owner). Which took 8 hrs. I couldn't get the car to start. I first thought that the battery was drained and had it charged. (volt meter tested -10.7) After charging the battery (12.5), starting would take a few cranks in order to start. Once started the idle would climb above 2k and bounce around after pressing the gas and continue. I would only let it run for 5-10min, fearful of damage. The voltage to the battery (13 -14 Volts, at idle). All the lights on the dash were activated (EML, ABS, Battery, check engine). The car was also in limp mode.
Pulled codes-
Air pump bank 2/misfire/o2 bank 2
(sorry, I do not have the proper codes)
With the use of the search function, I have tried the following:
Had the battery tested and charged, it passed the lps testing.
Cleaned ICV, MAF and TB
Double checked the install of the CCV. (All parts connected.)
All wires connections attached
Replaced intake boots - discovered a tear in both upper and lower boots.
Replaced TB gasket
While running starter fluid testing - no hesitation noted.
Having two issues has me stumped.
Could I have the wrong battery? Interstate MTP-91/T6(CCA700-cranking amp 875)
Thank you for reading.

Clear codes with a BMW specific scanner or computer with BMW software. Run errands with car for about a week, or until SES,CEL lights return, then re-scan. Repost actual codes displayed.
Isn't it unsafe to drive around in limp mode?
ill rescan codes and post. Thank you
What I was trying to say is-Clear codes first, drive just until new codes/lights reappear. If no new warning lights reappear, finish out the week so all sensors cycle, then re-scan.Use BMW specific scanner or computer with BMW software for clearing, scanning codes, generic code readers are not very useful.
