Unfortunately, neither is for sale, one set is for my car and the other is for a friend

They do have glow paint, but it was dark when I got home so they weren't glowing very bright during my "photoshoot". I'll let em charge up this afternoon and snap some pix

They started life as 100% brand new Meyle HD control arms, not some cheap ebay bullshit arms with rubber isolated outer balljoints

Just so there's no confusion, they're still using the Meyle HD balljoints, those discs in the balljoint holes are simply there to protect the machined surface of the balljoint hole from paint

Based on measurements i took years ago, e90 inner tie rods + e36 outers will work just fine, but I will confirm this before taking orders

Within the next week or two I'd like to order up six more sets to modify. I also don't like taking money from people before being ready to ship a product out, but I'd like to know that I at least have three people that'd be committed to buy before I ordered the arms up (no actual commitment, just a verbal one)

I'm about to get a little daring here - the cost will be four presidents typically featured in urban music genres, plus whatever i get quoted for shipping. If you already bought my blocks (or want to order them at the same time - for just two formerly mentioned presidents until i run out of inventory!) the cost is reduced by one union general

Hit me up if you've got any questions, either in this thread or via PM, i'm not picky
How much did u extend them by

guess i did forget to mention that bit. lol. they're extended by 2.5" and compensate for the way my blocks reduce caster, provided you have offset control arm bushings

got busy with making some more stuff

the control arm bushings are made out of delrin, which is basically like running an aluminum bushing. though delrin is self lubricating, so squeaks won't really be an issue. unfortunately, every bushing in the pictures has already been accounted for, though i should have another batch done within the next two weeks to ship out with my control arms, provided customers want them included as well

So for the stockish ackerman kits, do we need to modify the tie rods?

For now, yes. As of now, this is a lower priority on my list of things to do, but if there's enough interest I'll make a set of sleeves to use with e30 outer tie rods and e36 inners. No modification needed, just slap on and go

i guess it's a good thing that i'm almost done my first production batch then

i still need to finish the bottoms up and paint them - when done they will look like this:

they could have been done much much sooner, but i got a little sidetracked with extra business. you guys would be amazed at what kind of money lawyers/doctors/rich people/ect are willing to spend on what are, for all intents and purposes, paperweights. provided you call it art anyway

but now that christmas orders are over with, i can have the V2 stuff ready to ship by the end of next week

I think I've sent you two PM's. But I'm not sure they went through nothing is in my sent message box. Let me know if not. I have a few questions.

    Thanks.

look right above your post. I wasn't getting any evidence of a sent message in my outbox and didn't think they were going through. I am using a smartphone and the mobile site is terrible. So mah-bad.

No need to get all sandy-vag with the photo editing software. Especially to someone who was potentially a customer. Guess I'll take my money to someone who isn't a baby about simple things like two messages asking the same exact questions. I mean heaven forbid (shocked face).

I posted here so you'd understand why I sent two messages back to back.

Bahahahahaha OK snowflake. You're used to dealing with Amazon/ect where customer response time is <1hr, got upset that I didn't get back to you within two hours and decided to passively aggressively make me look bad so that I would "get back to you quicker" or something

It's time to wake up and smell the roses kiddo, there's no room for these nonsense public shaming tactics in Trumps' America

I actually own a fab shop.

    Where was I upset?

I logged back in to see if you'd replied and the notice my outbox read zero messages sent. So I sent a second message and and then posted on your thread saying "hey, I sent two messages because my out box is showing nothing went through." "If you don't get anything let me know"... "thanks". I wasn't in a rush and didn't get upset. I was working late on a tube chassis I have to have ready for a customer this weekend. I totally get that. It didn't even require an explanation.

You handled your business poorly in this situation. Sorry I annoyed you enough to require a passive aggressive response
I'll go deal with another vendor or just build the parts myself.

Might I suggest you get yourself a book on customer relations if you hope to make a business out of these.

Just to clarify, this is my definition of handling business

and this is my definition of humor

If you can't take a joke... oh well, there are plenty of other people out there that appreciate humor

Wait what did BFC censor? I know I closed all the debaucherous tabs this time... is it 4chan that gets censored now? Guess I'll find out once I post reply

    You sure will

The tabs have been open for months though, I just keep them open as a reminder to buy stuff. I want to convert to a Trick Flow-style header flange so I can actually get to my header bolts, well moreso I need to make a set of custom headers to route my exhaust in a normal fashion, so I figure I might as well convert while I'm at it. Problem is, the Trick Flow flanges use 1.875" primaries and the lego/header simulator company (ICEperformance) won't have their 1.875" kit out until the end of this month

Could I build my exhaust without without said "lego" kit? Probably, but I don't have a 240V circuit powerful enough at my house to run the TIG machine I use and there's nowhere to put my car at the shop. Plus, those header/lego kits just look soooo coooollll
