I think this car is great, just problems with finding some things like fuse box legion. Everything is labeled in German. The battery for this car lasted 15 yrs. What's up USA.
When I needed a new battery, I push start car and drive to shop. Told mechanic battery was in German. Get there, sitting in waiting area, he runs back in and say your battery is in German, duh. And this is my problem some times. Now I need to know what fuse legion is correct. I have an E46, they only came from Germany in 99. Can some one shed some light on this with diagram, please. Danke

BTW you car uses everything that the U.S. spec 323i E-46 does, there is no difference in the car, beside stuff being labeled in German. So you can use the exact same battery that belongs in a U.S. spec 323i, and no worries. It will be the same for all filter, fluids, ect. I am sure you get my drift.
Remember that Google is your friend, and there are plenty of photos out there of the fuse panel diagram.

Thanks for the info, found fuse diagram online. Having problems with car -it will not start- should have bought the Bentley Service Manual when I bought 323i. Its on its way 2 day.
I have one for all my other BMWs. Checking fuel pump to night, would like to know if anyone has fuel system diagram showing fuel pump relay?

Please explain the "will not start"
Does the start turn over the motor, but it won't catch? Or is it not even turning the starter over?
