Hi There
I have an M3 EMG 6 speed gearbox which I have modified to manual. Whilst its on the floor I thought for prudence I would change the seals.
I am having one hell of a job trying to undo the output shaft nut. A windy gun doesn't want to know. I have a 600mm 1/2 breaker bar and still no joy even after heating it to destroy the Loctite.
I assume its a standard RH thread as it does not say other wise in the BMW TIS.
Have any of you guys had trouble freeing it.?
Terry
How much pressure does your compressor have? This isn't a job for a small compressor, you will need shop air or find a compressor that can build up to 12 bar.
