Had a friend in from out of town this weekend and had a little fun last night.
Here are the cars
Stock 2015 Corvette Stingray A8
2010 Cts-v auto stock minus air raid intake and a corsa axle back
2011 335i manual full boltons, tune on ethanol
1995 M3 10:1 2jz s366 pump gas 16-17psi (did 465/400 on Friday)
Me vs Vette 40 roll (I put 1+ on him to 125-130ish)

I am still waiting on the video of the ctsv, but it ran really close with the 335, seen in the second video as the other car.
Overall I am very happy with how the car did. It will only get faster from here!

Thanks! Yeah...I wasn't sure how that was going to go with the Vette..the A8 cars run their asses off and I have read they are underrated powerwise..they seem to trap right around 120 from what I can tell.

Thanks! I was pretty happy with it. We did some more tuning on it between when I dynoed and these runs so I hope to see the same power I made on 17.5psi on 16psi now..maybe more.

Who cares what engine? Its a awesome boosted e36 that just made a $60,000 C7 look like it was standing still, on low boost.

Honestly..it sounds just like a turbo M/S5x motor and it drives like one..It doesn't change the driving experience of the car at all, so I'm not sure that I care. If someone drove it without me telling them it was swapped, I don't know that they could tell..

I agree, the inline 6's are similar. Def enjoy watching the vids, just thought I could see what my possible upcoming setup of s5x turbo could do lol. A boosted m/s5x should have similar outcomes though I'd think.

For sure. They seem to make similar power at the same boost, but as you know, there are a lot of things that can change that. The car was probably making 465ish on the 16psi I was seeing for these races as we did a good bit of tuning between the dyno and these pulls.

With 500whp you'll be faster than 99% of cars out there. I pull hard on modded c6 vettes. With your goals of 800 or whatever nothing will be able to keep up with you unless you go to 1/2 mile events or somewhere like that.
Having 500+ whp is nice... but I find it extremely difficult to find a car to race that is worth my gas lol...
