I have a 1989 bmw 535i s ac schnitzer and am debating whether to keep them on or put on a 3 piece genuine bbs wheels of my e39.. if i get the right spacers, would the offsets be ok?
You should be fine. Don't forget the hub centering rings because e39 CB is 74.1mm.
Hello Jim,
I have a 1994 e34,(525i) and I'm planning to pick up some factory wheels off an e39. They are 16 inch wheels.
Would you be able to assist when I am ready to order the center rings?
Also, ball park, how much should I expect to spend on the center rings?
Please let me know when you have a chance.
Thank you
Jim,
If possible, I'd like to ask for your assistance.
I'm planning to get the 10 spoke oem wheels from a Z4 (E85), they are 16 inches by 7 inches.
Are there hub centering rings that will accommodate this wheel when mounted onto a 1994 e34?
Please let me know when you have a chance.
I have a link with for the wheel information if you need that for more information.
Thank you for your time.
E39s (& X5s?) are the odd duck hub size of the BMW world, 74.1 mm vs. 72.5mm for the others.
If you can leave two black stripes from the exit of one corner to the braking zone of the next, you have enough horsepower. - Mark Donohue
Thank you for the response Jim. Do you know if I will need spacers?
I believe the stock wheels on my car have a positive off set of 20 while the wheels I am looking at (stock wheels from a 2004 Z4) have a positive offset of 47.
If I need spacers, is that something you can assist with as well?
Hello Jim,
I was finally able to buy some wheels for my 1994 e34. I got 16 inch bbs (oem bmw stamped) style 5 wheels that were on the e39.
Would you be able to help me purchase the appropriate hub centric rings to fit the wheels to my car?
Please let me know when you have a chance.
Thank You
