At first I thought its was your hard work, and Nick's dedication to this build is what got your into the 9's. All those hours on the dyno, all those hours tweaking this, tweaking that. Then I thought maybe you were an excellent driver, and you worked hard for your slip.
Then, I remembered you have a set of my fancy axles in there and that's the ticket.
Great job.

Two 10 sec runs at different tracks, one with regular non prep asphalt and a little higher boost Cant launch harder with the street tires...(Cheap Nankang NS20 215/45-17 )
I didnt do any adjustments or anything, just drove to the tracks 3h and then right up to the start.
Next time ill try with drag slicks
Off course the car is full interior and street legal etc.
Best time: 10,30

LOL, thats pretty awsome. You should swing over in the forced induction section and make a build thread. Whats in the motor and what turbo are on it? Anything special to make the AWD system survive? An IX runs the front axle through the oil pan right? What did you do to make that work on an M50?
Yeah im pretty happy with the time with these tires and on a real street surface Could do this at every stop light
Yeah i might do that!
Its a M50B28 fully built/forged revving to 8000 rpm, precision 6765 turbo.
Im using a mix of E30, E34, Z3 parts some custom parts. Yes, the oil pan comes from a E34 525ix.

Took the car back out for another round of 1/4 mile run testing at Darlington Dragway yesterday... Knocked a few hundreths off the 9 sec pass we did at Zmax. Was hoping to get a few more tenths, but not this time....
New personal best though... 9.95s @ 142.5 mph 1.58 60' 17" Hoosier DOT Drag Radials
