Nice result. Little car is moving. Surprising traction for street tires.

Thanks need to work on my launch a little more. I either launch to hard and spin or soft and bog.

With that trap, you need some better tires.

Very nice! Slip the clutch like you hate it and that could go low 11's.

    - - - Updated - - -

Brett's car fell off the list due to date, which only left two cars in the modified class so I combined it with unlimited. I thought there would be more cars on slicks but if we could get a few more poeple to fit that class I may separate it out again.

I was trying to slip the clutch as much as possible. I know I need better tires and will get some eventually but people's reaction to the setup are always entertaining haha. Also I'm at around 6000ft elevation also so I know that hurts me a little.

I don't agree with the two year period. I ran the numbers, why should the run disappear? What is the point of going fast if the "records" disappear? My 3300lb street car ran an 8.9@164.

I think the 2 year thing is cause the all time records exists in the 3 other threads. I think Someguy wanted a thread for active cars.
Kinda like a baseball season but goes for 2 years. Allows the list to change up, (Joe maybe the leader now, but if he doesn't keep hitting home runs Bill may take his spot).
    Something like that ?
I don't think he intended this to be an all time record list.

Maybe like street outlaw thing. Dunno.

I kinda feel like the two year rule has me scratching my head as well, but it's not my list.

    Just realized I had a better time slip for the e46. 12.037 @ 132mph

This is not a "fastest bmw's ever list". This is a fastest bimmerforums members right now list. My idea for it was to be like a league of sorts. I want to encourage some friendly competition to move up the list without competing with people years and years ago. If the patriots win the Super Bowl they only get to be champions for a year, but they still get there place in the record book.

Makes sense! Maybe include what everyone has done in the past somehow? Just so it's all in one thread

I will include older runs but will require a $35 PayPal donation to go toward the maintenance of this thread. If you have any complaints please PM them to Butters.

Guess I'll have to take the black car to the track again to get her back on the list! I'll save the PMs to Butters for later.

I like this... Like the 405 guys, if their cars are broken and can't race they come off the list or give up their spot
