That is one event I will not be able to make unfortunately. Appreciate the thought though.

You really should think about Colorado Springs. We have Garden of the Gods as well as *COUGH* Pikes Peak!

I'm seriously considering CO. It seems absolutely gorgeous out there. I will keep everyone posted, probably from SLC, UT.

His going above i80 and coming back below i40, so it going to be complicated for him to drive through Colorado

If you will end up going through Colorado, then i70 from Denver to i15 in Utah is way to go, it's absolutely outstanding route, with breathtaking views all the way, day time only of course

can't wait for updates... and unfortunately, i in the worst part of the world for a cross country trip...
Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by hundreds of engineers that get paid thousands of dollars for something you bought at Pep Boys because your buddy who doesn't have a job told you it was 'better'?!?

I had a little send off party / meet yesterday with a few friends....

Think this car might attract a little attention? Ran out of room for more stickers...

Hi Fellas.... I'm now NE of Lake Tahoe. Out in the middle of the desert heading to Bonneville Salt Flats. My first endurance run of the trip.... six hours to destination. Car is still holding up. Wish me luck👍😎

I hope to make SLC tonight. So far it's 93 degrees outside, and KTMP is 83

Thanks! Yup! Passed Elko, and then visited the one and only Bonneville Salt Flats! I am now in Salt Lake City for the night. If anyone is around tomorrow and would like to meet, just shoot me a PM or email.

Thanks man! Unfortunately, I don't think I am going to be able to make it into Colorado on this trip. I believe I will be heading up top Yellowstone later today.
