Hello guys! After having some problems with my 645 dme i got it replaced (along with the cas and a new key), i wanted to initialize the active steering but it always fails.
Im using insta rheingold for the initialiazation, the motor angle resets fine but when it tries to reset (adjust) the steering angle sensor it fails with the following message: The adjustment of the steering angle failed.
I have no idea whats wrong because before the dme/cas swap it was working normally.
I took it to a bmw tehnician - a friend, and he suggested that i need to replace the steering angle sensor, but im a little reluctant to do that becuse i think it didnt just die out of nowhere. i tried to clean the sensor ( i have the one with the "brushes" 05 model ) but with no luck.
The following error codes are shown in INPA:
AFS - OKAY
614A
6140
CE99
Nothing serious if i read the codes right..
But i checked the sensor values in INPA and i think its ok but please check the following videos becuse there is an error showing: Status driver steering angle ERROR.
Oh, and the steering wheel is not in center, its a little to the left - but should probably get centered after AS adjustment?
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Also, i can get a new steering angle sensor but i dont wanna replace it for "no reason".
Thanks in advance!
