    Here you go, gentlemen.

Can McLaren build on their strong result from the Austrian GP?

Continuing fallout from the Mercedes last-lap contact on Sunday?

    Discuss.

Well, apparently Mercedes has given warnings that it's not above suspending drivers, so that's nice. McLaren is going to use two tokens for an upgrade, so that's nice too. Looking forward to a great weekend - Silverstone, Wimbledon, and Tour de France, not to mention just being outside the rest of the time.

Forgot about that - less outdoor time then! I would've rather seen Germany play Portugal, but it should still be a good game.

I really am not a fan of the 5-place grid spot penalty for gearbox changes. That rule needs to go or the number of gearboxes available for use over the season needs to go up.

Lol at Hamilton saying "the fans here are great, you don't hear a lot of boos here" and then they immediately proceed to boo Nico. F1 drivers are such tools.

Interested to see what happens to Mercedes in terms of the radio communications.

David Hobbs said if the stewards don't do anything they are going to look like a load of chumps

That was pretty funny. My guess is they dock him 10 seconds and Nico ends up in 3rd.

    And the verdict is in:

    http://www.autosport.com/news/report...o-rules-breach

They should have taken points from the Constructors title instead of Nico individually. Oh well - that's F1 for you.

Gahd that radio rule is so stupid.

"Let's penalize the drivers when the teams give them information about the car and strategy guidance, despite evolving the sport to the point that this information can and should be available to the driver."

    - - - Updated - - -

Lewis talking about Nico as if he isn't in the room before the podium ceremony is just about the level of class we've come to expect from the reigning World Champion. His booing fans exemplify that same class as well.

Agree should be constructor points taken away. Radio rule is stupid. F1 should be a team sport every lap of the race

Hammy is such a self indulged douche. The big ass sighs he was taking in the green room and leaning over the table with the camera right there was so obviously forced I wanted to puke.

    Definitely puke-worthy.

Anyone catch what Alonso said over the radio half way through the race? Couldn't tell what he was complaining about.

Tire strategy, I believe. Everyone switched to mediums several laps before and he was still on inters.

I thought it was a bit fake as well. All weekend he's was saying "our fans are the best, blah blah." I can't help but think about the Tiffosi fans at monza...

    Please no:

I stomached the "proboscis noses" and the Ferrari platypus nose from 2014, but if all the teams have to run the "halo," I might actually have to recuse myself from F1. I'm not kidding.

Can Bernie just hurry up and croak already? I dunno if this is even his fault, but I'm gonna blame him anyway.

Compare the above RBR image to this:

Absolutely no driver protection. And tell me we've taken a step forward. The drivers are risking their lives and if it's not risky it's not worth watching. Geez.

You do not have the permission to show 1989-1994 car pictures here. Remember I am the only one stuck in the past.

2016 British GP was not a sold out event. About 100,000 seats were sold out of 140,000 capacity. Reason may be that cheapest ticket was $300. Today F1 is all "brand" all "hype" there is no value, there is no excitement. It is all about tire management.
