Too bad its full of crappy parts.

I bought some 135 wheels for my 128...one of them was cracked and I only found out after washing them at home.

LUCKILY the dude gave me my money back.

Bimmerforums, DTMPower, and the BMWCCA NW Forums used to be my go to spots for local events/deals. In the summer there was something happening every weekend for months! NW section of M3Forum.net is dead too.

Where if any are you guys going for local stuff? Is everything on FB nowadays?

When I moved up here from SoCal in 2012, I found this PNW section pretty dead compared to the CA one I had been used to. I daily drove my M3 to Tukwila, and since late last year I drive to Renton (30+ years with Boeing) and my M has over 244K on it. It stopped charging the battery last year so I gave it a new alternator but still not charging so when it gets warmer I'll find what cable is going bad. (I put it on a smart charger every evening) I plan on replacing it later this year with an S4 or something else fun to drive. Just got another Z06 (under 9k on it) and it's my fun weekend car come April or so....but I still enjoy the M3, its still relatively fast compared to how 99% of the people up here drive.

People don't obey speed limits in CA?

I fly to CA every year for the races a Laguna Seca, and driving south from San Jose everyone is doing 80-85mph, so no, they don't. I have driven in over 20 states and 4 countries and I find WA to be the worst of them all by far. Heck where I live they don't seem to be able to read the speed limit signs, or if its 36 degrees they go 30mph on a 45mph road that has no ice on it. And driving in the rain, seems most don't pay attention to their tires either so they poke along at 50mph on the I-90 and 405......

I once got pulled over by a trooper up here, he didn't care that I was doing 70+ on I-90, he thought I got too close to a Bimmer in front of me (I didn't, just the Vette is so wide he probably couldn't see the BMW..)

Maybe this is why all the Californians are moving up here, we're so nice and polite.

I've lived in a few other states and driven in quite a few. I've never lived in Washington, but have driven there. Coming from California almost 4 years ago, I still say Oregon drivers, in general, are the worst I've seen. So maybe being so close to Washington, some of that rubs off.

Ive discussed it here before because I was so dumbfounded. It's the 4 way stops and freeway merging that show the biggest problem. I just can't comprehend the thought process behind these actions and thus, my frustration. I thought I would eventually get over it, but I haven't. Well I take that back, I'm over the slow driving thing kind of. I think I'm starting to get used to driving 5-10 mph below the speed limit on surface streets and highways, and 1/2 the time on the freeway. What are you gonna do? Oregon makes up for it though in almost every other way so I'm I'll good

I was on FB for a while, but canceled my account. I might join again. Seems like there was a lot of action on PNWBMW, but a lot of bs too. I prefer the format of a forum like this to do what we do here.

I've only really driven through Oregon, we did stay at an awesome Motel in the south Oregon, but I had no issues driving my Z06 at decent speeds, but it was a Sunday in late January. We get the same slow pokes up here, it's amazing. I can do 70+ in pouring rain in my M3, but most up here are afraid to go over 50mph......

Always seems to me that Portland Drivers are the worst -- but with the exception of Portland... general freeway driving, I'd rather do just about any place in Oregon than in Washington. For the most part Oregon drivers move out of the left lane once they are done passing, or they see you coming up behind them. Washington is the worst at this..... ugh.

I know it's not a bimmer, but what the hell, not like much is showing up here these days...maybe I'll put a roundel on it for fun.
