Hello,
I am new to this forum and I am looking for some recommendations and suggestions for my 2011 328i white Base Model E90. I bought this car used and the rims are stock, I believe they are stock 17" rims, They currently have continentals 225/45 R 17 tires. I am looking to get some decent/ entry level rims with a matte/black finish. Not sure if I should stick with 17" or go bigger with 18". I am also not sure when i read about staggered vs non staggered wheels.
I look forward to hearing your recommendations and suggestions. Im very excited to drive my car some personality.
For the rims, look into Enkei and Motegi. If you want to upgrade your tires, Michelin is an excellent choice due to its tread life and performance.
Hi Orange325,
There's literally thousands of wheels which you can put on your E90 in multiple diameters, widths, offsets, construction in 1,2 or 3 piece, deep lip, deep concave, flat face, mesh, multispoke, 5,6,7 spoke and colours and finishes. On top of that, you can get used wheels for $200 or spend $8000+. Staggered means different widths front to rear, so a 8.5x19 Front and 9.5x19 Rear set would be 'staggered'.
You need to do your own research and look at wheels that you like based on all the above choices and make a shortlist of perhaps 3/4 and then look for those.
Cheers, Dennis!
