Time for another night at the track. Looking at July 13. Greg figured how to get into 3rd gear, Butters should be back on the road in a couple days after he dodged a bullet. I'm on vacation that week. I heard a rumor somebody got new axels. Who's in for round 2?

Normally I feel sorry for you but I just spent 6 hours removing a broken banjo bolt from my steering rack. And another 3 hours replacing all the power steering hoses. Tell me again why the e36 is such a great car?

300 miles of a lot of shifting will certainly break it in just fine. That's like less than 50 miles a day starting now. Its the shifting more than the miles.

I'm ready to go. New power steering hoses in place. I'll spend the next few days trying to find out what caused that cylinder 3 misfire last time. Probably time for new plugs

From a 13.5 to 11.6, hmm that would be a great accomplishment I hope he does but that won't matter as I'm going checkers on the list and will be taking the 1st spot in a couple of weeks ;-)

Lol my best was 13.49 last year. I'm hoping for 12.9 on Wednesday. Hoping for 12.5 before the end of the season.

I agree it's got to be enjoyable. I've been getting frustrated the last few times and it hasn't been too enjoyable with the standard as it takes some serious shifting skills. If you watch any serious drag racing people usually run autos or power glides.
