When marking right turns my 2011 135i is making a ticking sound that occurs more rapidly the faster I take a corner. The sound is coming from the front left side. I had BMW check this out recently, and they couldn't find anything wrong. It does not make this sound when making left turns. My warranty expires in August, so if something is wrong that may be covered it would be nice to figure that out sooner than later.
thanks for anyone's time.
I am willing to bet they will find the issue once your warranty runs out. Hahaha! Though I would recommend taking your car elsewhere once they diagnose the issue. Just another way to get back at them.
As far as the ticking sound, usually that would be associated with the differential when it is starting to go back or when you're stressing an axle more than usual (such as joyriding on the track). How did you confirm it is coming from the front left side? Lifted the car up and rotated the wheel?
