Just picked up a set of staggered style 37's from an e38 that I'm super excited to mount on my e34 540i. They had some curb rash that I got rid of with a handy dremel sanding tool.

It appears I sanded right through the clear coat. Is there any way I can reapply clear coat where I had to sand it off or will it look choppy?

Correct me if I am wrong but it also doesn't seem like these rims have any paint from the factory.

Here's a couple pictures of what it looks like now.

Also, when I was washing them with hot water, the front wheels got some kind of stain on the face of the wheel. It's a little hard to see in the picture but a lot more visible in the sunlight. It's around the lug nut holes. Is there any way I can remove this?

Direct me to another thread if there is one about this same issue that you might have previously read. If not I appreciate if anyone could help me out to refinish my style 37 wheels!
