Just saw the back and forth with the M52 vs S52. I'm running a lowered compression stroker M52 (3.0L), OBD2, VAC turbo cams, and obviously a turbo. Is this PNPMS3 Pro the best for me or is there a setup that might be easier/better for my build?

Do you want to tune your own car?

If the answer is yes, then yes.
If the answer is no, then no.

Let's discuss what it takes to make an obd1 car, run the obd2 ecu. Seems like that's what will need to be done if you're obd1 and want something quick.

you can still make your own PNP obd1 ecu for under 1000$ with megasquirt. Its really not that hard at all.

Sorry, that would be Gainesville, Georgia.

Got it! We are now up to 15 who are looking for an OBD2 unit.

Doubling the minimum won't increase the discount, but it will get this done faster.

Should work with the same changes that run an OBD1 car on a stock OBD2 ECU.

Easy as just swapping the harness? I have an OBD2 harness laying around, if that's the case I'll take an OBD2

Just the crank sensor (use the euro one) and the coolant temp in the head right?

I think you can use a m42 crank sensor if you want to mount it in the OBDI location, my 2 current OBD2 swap doesn't seem to even have the coolant temp sensor in the head connected, you will need knock sensors and I'm pretty sure cam position sensor too. Also, the vanos solenoid wiring length is different so you may need the adapter piece to makeup the length difference

The M44 sensor is generally used in the OBD2 location to make an OBD2 engine compatible with an OBD1 DME. I don't think there's a solution to go the other way.

However, one of these might work:

I don't have a specific closing date, but they typically close when the design is complete and the parts are on order to put it into production. We may close it if we have more than 50 sign ups as well.
