Yes, finally haha. Good thing I didnt go buy the vems . Because they claim its obd2 plug n play standalone
Matt, I wouldn't recommend investing your time into this obscure cam sensor. The earlier m50tu hall sensor is cheap, easy to install, and your pool of prospective buyers will not have a problem installing a cam sensor. You could probably include this in the kit for less than you are spending in time to develop on the stock sensor.
Does an adapter harness have to be made to use the OBD1 cam sensor with the obd2 harness?
Including an OBD1 cam sensor and adapter harness (if an adapter turns out to be necessary) is plan B if this doesn't work. And our electrical engineer needs to work on SOMETHING while he's stuck in his house from a COVID-19 lockdown with no chance to do on-car testing. Mailing him a set of cam trigger wheels and a sensor was pretty easy.

I'll be sure to keep you posted. The group buy will probably be open when the ECU itself is 2-3 months out, or less.

Preliminary work on the OBD2 cam sensor testing is looking promising. We're also working on ASC integration.

Keep up the good work. Already got money set aside for this
I came back just in time for this! Any deposit taken yet?
THE TIME DRAWS NEAR!

Just passed 4th year anniversary and still none out there?
At what point does something get deemed "vaporware"?
Our engineer has a question about the cam sensor on OBD2 motors. Can anyone measure the depth from the sensor flange to trigger wheel with a calipers or depth micrometer? If not, does anyone have a spare cylinder head - which can be hopelessly FUBAR as long as we can spin the cam - they'd be willing to part with?

I can measure later today

Alternatively, if you have the valve cover off, it looks like you should be able to get a feeler gauge in there to measure sensor gap directly.

Ah sorry I lied. But I can go measure it now.
