Updates. December has been a bit of a crazy month with the PRI trade show and several people being out on vacation.

The brackets are back from the contract manufacturer. They fit well, but we'll need an anti-rattle pad under the ECU as there's a tiny bit of vibration. Our usual go-to gasket manufacturer has been a bit hard to reach this month too, but we should have the pads made up soon.

There has been one unexpected hold up on the OBD2. The source we used for the connectors in the initial run has dried up. We still have enough to keep production going for quite a while, but I need to secure a new source before we do an OBD2 run. I already have several leads on it; I'm just waiting for them to get back to me.

I've updated the sign up list.

Right now we're getting a couple of MSPNPs that had almost been finished out the door so we can clear the R&D schedule. I'm also investigating if I can get brand new OBD2 connectors or will need to modify the OBD1 units to fit. One obstacle has been cleared, at least - we found several hundred more connectors at one of our regular suppliers, hiding under a different part number.

The brackets are completed, but we found they'll work best with neoprene anti-rattle pads under the ECU. The anti-rattle pads are due in very soon, and then the bracket and pad packages will ship out.

From what i remember, the plugs are interchangeable if you remove the locating tab on the ODB2 one i think. Maybe the other way around.

Correct. We would want to either get a connector with the tab in the right place to begin with, or have it milled off in a clean and professional looking manner.

I know people are excited to get their units, but in the long run the wait will be worth it for a quality product. If you don't want to wait you can always install a generic unit. Its worth it for the PnP units to be as sorted as possible as thats the whole point of a PnP... If its called a PnP but reqires this and that modification we will never hear the end of the whining about how some work was involved to get it up and running

Agreed, and like ive said before, wiring in a shelf unit isnt hard. It just takes a small understanding of how to read a wiring schematic.

Look, ive even done it, and im just a hill billy that builds push rod motors.

Just finished checking out the production mounting hardware today. We will be shipping these out to those who bought the ECUs starting this week.

Sorry about the confusing - I meant the brackets and associated mounting hardware. I'll see if I can get any updates on the OBD2 timeline.

We have an ECU going on one of the LUXFAB built E30 M3's S50 powered. Should be fun. They work great on the LS Program we have!

It looks like a harness to connect between the stock OBD2 harness and the MS3 pro universal ECU. I'm just curious what was done for the cam sensor. I don't know if the ECU is capable of using the OBD2 cam sensor.

its not, just put a ODB1 sensor on it. Ive done it. A few times.

No body should be waiting for anything. Make a jumper harness. Its easier then it sounds.
