OK, it's time to post the last call for group buys on the OBD1 model! Group buy closes Friday, August 11th, at midnight Eastern time. Projected ship date is August 31st. At this point, things are winding their way through production and QC.
In other news - there has been a small pricing change. Everyone in the group buy still gets the same price, but post-group buy sales will be a bit of a higher price. It's now a $1499 retail price with everyone in the group buy getting $200 off instead of a $1399 retail price with those in the group buy getting $100 off.

Anyone wanna paypal me $1300 so I can buy one? Lmk XD
Any update on OBD2 release?
Worth every penny IMHO. There is a night and day difference in my car with the MS3PRO. We were able to tune out a fairly nasty dip in my HP/TQ curve and build HP/TQ across the board.

Price is creeping really close to a haltech ps2000...
Anyways, the AUD is going strong, can we make remainder of the payments now?
Thanks
I couldn't find a PS2000 plug and play for the E36 on Haltech's website - was this something one of their resellers put together? Just like to keep tabs on our competition.
Group buy pricing hasn't moved, but yes, there's another $100 for those who didn't get in the group buy. (You've got until midnight tonight, eastern US time to get in!).
If you want to send in part of the payment early due to exchange rates, the best option would be to use the gift certificates option on the site to send payment now to be used later. I don't have the final package weight, but shipping will probably be around $100 USD for Priority Mail Express International.

I can tell you that all they did was plug the MS3PRO into my OEM wiring harness and it was good to go. I had a stand alone wide band and that required one wire to be ran. You are not going to be spending time trying to figure out wiring with this kit. Plug in and get to finding the HP/TQ.
Is there any documentation available re: wiring up aftermarket boost controller to this ecu?
Keen to use my HKS EVC VI from an old car,
Apologies, trying to get my setup straight / am an ECU noob,
Does this ms3pnp-pro have in cabin boost controller with boost psi display?
I have a HKS evc vi lying around, thought it would be great to run it, the display is a boost gauge as well as being a boost controller,
I'm confused, does this ms3pnp-pro have a boost controller where I can switch boost levels in cabin? I read it has 'closed loop boost control' but seems to be more related to boost levels per rpm/tune related,
Trying to figure out if I need this solenoid;

I realise it may be a basic question ^
I don't think I will remove my Eboost2 either. 6 settings on the fly with push of button. Also can change settings w/o lap top. Although , the ms3 boost by mph could be intriguing.

Production update. Our M50 test car has been repaired and Phil was running it on the dyno yesterday. Kevin is now busy putting together documentation. We will be doing a final test for the ECUs on the M50 test car until we can get a test rig built for these.
It looks like the brackets will not be ready in time for our August 31st deadline, but will be sent as soon as they arrive.
There is no display on the unit itself, but you can connect a smartphone or tablet to it (we have a page covering smartphone / tablet apps for MegaSquirt here) and have that display both your actual boost level and your current boost target. Or just about any other boost related parameter if you want.
The closed loop feature means that the ECU targets a specific amount of boost, instead of "pulse the solenoid at this duty cycle", which is the open loop approach. The EVC VI is a closed loop system as well. The MS3Pro also has two separate boost tables. You can command the ECU to switch between these tables or blend between them with a knob input or flex fuel sensor.I'm confused, does this ms3pnp-pro have a boost controller where I can switch boost levels in cabin? I read it has 'closed loop boost control' but seems to be more related to boost levels per rpm/tune related,
Yes. You would use one of these for regular boost control or two if you are using a CO2 based boost control.Trying to figure out if I need this solenoid;
