I heard today that they have the case nailed down and it's nice. They are now in the new building and running smooth

I'm really considering going with a stock ecu tune until this comes out if it takes another month or so to get started. The good season up here starts in about a months time and I figure waiting 3 months production from April = July / August and half of the season of being able to drive my car is gone
Anyone think its worth it to park the car and wait or shell the extra $$ to have car driveable sooner & set standalone up when its good n ready?

You can wire in a regular ms3 or ms3 pro in a weekend. I've done it about 20 times. If you want documentation, pm

A simple jumper harness makes it plug and play.

We've put this one on front burner now and are working to pin down delivery dates for some of the parts from our suppliers. Kevin has drawn up a preliminary OBD1 board layout. I've drawn up and sent the case design off for quotation today. First time we've used a cast aluminum case on an MSPNP - this one is going to be very similar to the MS3Pro Ultimate case, except the connectors exit through the sides instead of the top. The case is likely to be the longest lead time part in the project, and getting that pinned down will help establish the rest of the timeframe. We should have more details for estimated ship date and when we can start taking deposits, very soon.

Got a set of ITBs sitting waiting to mate up with this on my S52.
If you get a jump start on a pinout, I can easily see this being done in a weekend. You're running what, 45-50 wires or so to get the engine running? Do some up front planning, then you just need to crimp a pin and put in the right place every 30 mins, you'll be done in a solid weekend of working on it. In reality, once you have the pinout done, you can probably knock it out in a solid day. You start going pretty quick once you get in a groove and you're just putting a terminal in the right spot in a connector.
will this be pnp for an e30 already running a m50
If it's running a factory computer currently then yes.

Big update!
We now have a shipping deadline for the OBD1 model - we expect them to be ready on no later than June 20th. OBD2 development will start once the OBD1 model is confirmed working on a test car (which we do have lined up), and I will post up when we have a deadline for that. I know, that's a bit long, but we expect it will take a while to get the cases made and that is the main bottleneck.
Retail price is going to be $1399, with those in the group buy getting $100 off. I'm confirming a few minor details and expect to be able to take deposits for the OBD1 models sometime next week.

I'm very interested. Will these come with a wideband or will we have to purchase that separately?
Seperate
