One guy who signed up by PM turned out to need an OBD1, so we're back to 18 OBD2 sign ups. Currently I would anticipate a first quarter 2017 ship date, most likely to the end of the quarter, but I can't guaranty that. If this is put on front burner with 20 sign ups, it's likely the earliest we could have them ready to ship would be December, as these have a 2-3 month time to take care of development and tooling up for mass production.

This is for both, there's two list. If you want obd1 you can go on that list.

They are 1 product not 2 seperate things. It's a Megasquirt Pro ECU that plugs directly into the stock harness.

Yep - this is a single box that plugs into the factory wiring. What you get in the box will be a complete, turn-key package.

    Now at 8 OBD1 sign ups and 18 OBD2.

For those of us that don't tune ourselves, is this something that a competent dyno/tuning shop can work with? Does a list of venders/tuners exist (specifically Chicago area?)

A competent tuner should have no issues with MS since it's a VE based ECU (just like AEM Infinity, Haltech, etc.). Considering that the base settings will be taken care of (triggers, sensors, etc) it should be a non-issue.

x2, but also, systems like this will give you the ability to learn. Get some help from a professional, pay for a tune, save the tune in your email, and tinker away.

Would love to tinker with this while still NA then make the move to FI. My fuel pump & clutch are boost ready but I don't want my car down till 2017 with a full turbo kit and no tune. These turbo parts have collected enough dust
    Is it March yet lol

Yes. As others noted, it's something a tuner who is used to Haltech or AEM (or several other designs like Holley or Electromotive) should have no problem picking up how to tune this.

We currently have an internal list. Brad Nagel is in Illinois and typically works on domestics, but he does top notch tuning work and would be a good choice. There is also DynoSource Performance in Antioch, and I can check on others. By the time the unit is out, we also hope to have a new site that aims to be like a Yelp for dyno tuning.
