Here are two videos recorded by a dude in a Saab Viggen. The guy video taping bought the car new, modded the engine a little, ended up blowing the engine and Saab refused to cover the engine failure under warranty. That's when he bought the Viggen motor. Now he is putting somewhere around 350WHP after modding it. It looked pretty much stock form the outside too.
Anyway, the videos are not of the best quality but it's some footage anyway. Each are a little over 5 minutes long.
45 sec. into this video is where one guy from Maryland went off. He spun in the turn (Turn 9) where Sunir recommended not to. You will see the results. His car is still in the shop because he hit the wall.
1:20 secs is where I am in front of the Silver Viggen TRYING to hold them off. They eventually pass me. You will see.
2:30 into this video is where I BELIEVE PeteinMD went off. Pete, please correct me if I am wrong.
3:40 secs you will see where Jeddy went off. The footage JUST MISSED the whole action.

In this second video, 3 min. into it is where I am in front of the Viggens again...TRYING to hold them off. Both were putting out over 350WHP. Jed was in the car with me when they passed me. It sounded like an airplane passing us.

Again, the video quality isn't the greatest.
nice .... did I see you stick up your middle finger? ... here's an update to that mcoupe guy ...
I have my Mcoupe setup for double-duty, but i will be changing ASAP after a mishap at BeaveRun in Pittburgh... I do many DE's and open days with my car, but it finally caught up to me, a guy in an Acura NSX hit me and his insurance is doing nothing, nor is he. I have an estimate that is around $5K and it hurts, I'm building a track car over the winter, i've had it. This is why people are always saying no to the track w/ their only car, i now see it, as i am back at school in Colorado with no car. This was a DE and I was an instructor and there is no action being taken, what a bummer. Best of luck guys.

If you look carefully in my section of the vid, I flash a peace sign and you can see Jesse crying.

Yeah, that does suk. I feel bad for the dude.
The damage didn't look too bad though. The NSX looked worse...and we all know how expensive NSX's are to work on.
Probably very cheap, after all it is only a Honda.Originally Posted by Andy

Believe it or not, the damage to the NSX was estimated at only $3K ...
backs up jed's thoughts ... it IS only a HON-DUH!!!!
I think the guy gave the bodyshop guys a $3K tip....because he is so rich.Originally Posted by NoSoup4U
