    F30 harsh ride

    Purchased a CPO f30 2013 335i, sports model 19" staggered wheels - 225/40/19 & 255/35/19 RFT. The ride is rough i literally feel the botts dots like riding on rims.

    I was thinking about about purchasing some style 400 18" staggered with a slightly more tire between the rim and road.

    Questions:
    1) Will this make the ride more compliant
    2) Are there tires that would work with my existing set that would give a less of a harsh ride
    3) Will this alter the handling of the car, after all that is why i bought a BMW

    Thank you for the feed back

    Sounds like you want to alter the ride. Get some 18s and get some Michelin Pilot Supersports or BFG Comp TA2s.
    My 528 is a German Tank..

    18" + non-runflats + CONTINENTAL EXTREME DW =A more sidewall compliant tire= ++ comfort level .

    You must still have run-flats. Considering they don't last too long, just wait and change to normal sidewall tires and see how that goes. I have a 335i with 19" staggered tires (same as your car) and we consider the ride good. Depends on where you came from. We came from a sports car (not sedan) and we were amazed how nicely it road. Try getting a free ride from a dealer demo and see if you like the change.
