So I was looking through all my old stuff from back when I had E30 m3's and such in the early 90's. I came across an oem glass sunroof kit complete with all the hardware etc. I was going to put it in my M3 but sold the car and basically have moved it from place to place through the years and forgot about it. Anyway, any idea what it is worth? I did some searching and people say its very rare etc. I am considering buying another e30 M3 one day so Ill either keep it or sell it if it is worth a decent amount of money. No use for it right now. Ill post pics when I take some in a day or two. Thanks, Mark
I'd buy it from you right now, would be the icing on the cake of my restoration :-)

Sounds good but I need to see whats its worth. We can discuss on a pm if you want.
Eh, what something is worth and what some people think its worth, ask for it... are different stories.
Its worth about $250-300 to me personally. I've seen people asking 5, 6, 700 for complete setups before. I've not seen much trade hands at those prices however.
If it is in fact a BNIB kit I am quite seriously interested, but I'm also not one to pay an absurd price "just because" While they are definitely uncommon, I would not consider them to be rare in the the truest sense of the word. Used pullouts come up for sale pretty frequently.

I was looking at your E30 build...nice! As for the sunroof, it is BNIB but the box is all messed up from getting moved around etc. It is complete and never installed though. I completely see your point about its value and understand. If its only worth $300 I think Ill just put it back in the attic and use it when I come across another E30 M3.....although now I need to pay $50k and not $22k like I sold my old henna, 2.5, dogleg box, blanton diff...bla bla bla car for Thanks for taking the time to give me your input. I appreciate it!

What stuck said is pretty true. they're rare and people usually list them for ~$500, but they don't sell quickly and there isn't a huge demand for them (unlike hardtops for instance).
Sent you a PM
Thanks for the interest everyone. Ill post pics this weekend.
Did this ever sell?
