I'm Jason, new to this forum. I'm looking forward to be on here. My 2015 M4 has 6800 miles on it and I bought it with 72. I'll try to put some pics up of it. Anyway, thanks in advance for any help that I will gain from the community.
Jason
Forgive me. Let's try this photo thing again.

Well,
I must have 100 posts to do any customizing to my profile. That's cool. I understand that its to weed out the casual, I just wanted to be happy to profile my car and the things that I'm doing to it.

I was hoping for a newcomer subforum, but I can't find it.
I was driving past the dealer and stopped in to see what he had. Maybe just a drive. I saw this car and traded my AMG on the spot.
Jason
Had the C63 had the DCT equivalent, I would have never parted with her.
Jason
I wanted this DCT! And I'm humbled in having it. It's insane!
Jason
Each gear grab proves to have its own complications. Namely slipping wheels.
Jason
Always got to be on guard when testing this car.
Jason
After the 2K service, they hooked up the launch mode. I tried it at standard RPM, smoked the tires all the way to 3rd gear before I shut it down to getting sideways.
Jason
Had to move the launch mode RPM from 3k to 2400. Now, just a few wheel hops and we are off!!
Jason
First mod was tinted windows. Had to; black on black car and the summer heat was too much for AC.
Jason
Second mod was front reflectors delete. Replaced with OEM painted parts. The car looks so much cleaner now!
Jason
Next mid was BAVSOUND speaks. Plus their Ghost subs. Let me just say, amazing sound. I need their amp now.
Jason
Next mod is the exhaust sound. I did a bunch of research as well as YouTube research.
I know that this car won't sound anywhere close to my 09 C63, but I want something to signal insane shit is behind this body.
Jason
I heard lots of different YouTube vids ('cause that's all that is out there) for different first choice exhausts. There are a lot of options out there for you all.
Jason
I had two top contenders. Akropovich and Capristo. Akropovich is titanium. Capristo is stainless.
Jason
Akropovich isn't valved. Capristo is (via a key fob).
Jason
MPower has a good alternative. And it uses factory integration. But the cost is quite high compared to the others.
Jason
My local quote (Portland Oregon) has full system from Akropovich and Calisto at 7k, out of the door. MPower is just the rear section at 5.5k from the dealer. Dinan is 2.5 from the dealer.
Jason
Dinan tube videos didn't impress. I heard MPower at the 'ship and I liked the sound for a cold start. I wasn't allowed to drive since it was a customer car.
Jason
However, Akropovich and Calisto still held my interest. Like a lot!
Jason
They both sound like craziness! And that's what we deserve in this car. But one gives the ability to execute some sort of control.
Jason
Maybe you don't always want the car to be batshit loud? Or you don't give a shit about your neighbors? This was the thought that I had to wrestle with.
Jason
So I chose the difference between titanium or stainless. Non-valved or valved. And then I second guessed myself.
Jason
Talking to my installer, I regained my original composure and chose the Capristo system. The valved system. The stainless system. Full system.
