Things to look for when buying a used 3.2 longblock

I'm in the market for a used longblock (my oil pump came loose and apparently ruined my engine block). I was considering getting a new engine, or even a rebuilt engine... but money is the issue.

What should I look for in purchasing a used engine, and I also need help trying to find them... advice anyone?

    thanks in advance

I am sorry to hear your loss. I experienced the same thing but had the nut welded so it will never happen again.

I would look for a low mile used block but try not to pay to much. I paid 3550.00 for 40k. On the bright side this is a great time for mods. If you have any questions please ask I almost finished my car and have lots of mods now cams ported head and much more.
