530i/5 Euro RHD spongy pedal + ABS Light On , Diagnostic Tool for M60 Advice?

help , 94 530i RHD Manual 55k KM , i change the old power steering hose low pressure from pump & steering box , all the hose from reservoir because its leaking and the hoses is cracked and harden , because my car have a hydro-booster power brake assist from the power steering pump and the pedal is not worked sinking tothe floor and have ABS Light ON . After i replace the hose , the problem is still same , better feeling , still sinking to the floor and spongy, must be pumping few times before it harden.
    1. what problem is this ? are my master cylinder bad ? brake bomb is bad ? or accumulator ? air in the brake line ?
    2. e34 diagnostic tool specially for M60 Engine ? got my self a obd2 + converter from aliexpre*ss.com like this pic no.1 but did not work . no response from computer blablabala, will it work with BMW Scanner 1.4.0 pic no. 2 ?
    Thank You

you probably need a new master unit, inside there are 4 seals and a bakelite ring, the seals could be leaking, I posted here a disassembled brake master unit https://www.bimmerforums.com/forum/s...=bakelite+ring

Sounds like you have introduced air into the braking system and low pressure may be triggering the warning light. Bleeding the brakes may well cause the light to go out. This thread explains how to bleed the system on the E32 but I am pretty sure that the E34 works in the same way:

Note that some parts of the system work at extremely high pressure so be very careful

OBD2 scanners do not work on the E34. It uses a system called ADS. But if you resolve the problem, you may not need a scanner at all
