July 9th sound good?
Anyone in the Pacific Northwest.

Other dates can work too, just this is a german car themed day.
Ooh ooh, I'm up for it ... NOT! I live on the east coast.
Time for the N W touring owners to form a posse big enough to compete with that group back east. I could make any day that gets decided on.
For those not in the NW, y'all could organize one on the same day. Nationwide wagonpalooza!

Not a bad idea. https://www.americascarmuseum.org/explore/exhibits/
I don't get to Tacoma often and any of the OR guys would find that a not so bad drive...?
If anyone hits LeMay this weekend, take pics.

Moving this to the top. How about Redmond Town Center on Sept 3rd?
It is the 'Ferrari day' for exotics @ RTC, about the only place a normal person can find a 250 GTO, F40, F50, Enzo and LaFerrari all in one spot.
We can find somewhere nearby to all meet up after. Thoughts?
I don't know how to tag members here, does anyone else?

Hi,
I'll make the trip across!
Just kidding! it's a little bit too far for me! That said, if things plan the way I'd like, then I'll ship my car to the East Coast of the USA/Canada and do a month long drive around
For those who do go to the event, please do post up pictures !
Cheers, Dennis!
I'm afraid it couldn't be for one night as I prefer the 40% and stronger stuff ! Here's the home bar;
Collection has recently been extended to a 5 litre bottle of Chivas and a couple bottles of some specialist Vodka's etc. Need to stock up on a few of the families favourites too!.. but I'll buy you a couple cases of beer no problemo !
Cheers, Dennis!
Dennis,I'm coming to your place, as I too don't drink beer. Un american I know, but I'm allergic to beer. Now how's your taste in coffee?
The only stuff 'coffee' related I like are Tira Misu and one of those choccy woccy frappa wappa chino things from Starbucks. Considering I haven't set foot in a Starbucks since 2012 in Atlanta, you can perhaps see I'm not a coffee fan at all!
Some more bottles in the collection;
And some of this pile of plonk, I don't like wine at all, some of the sweeter wines some of the family have but that's about it, I need to give away some of these bottles!
I'm 5 miles West of Heathrow, whenever any of you guys fly over, let me know !
Cheers, Dennis!
Well Dennis, the event your attending in spirit is called cars and coffee. Here in the Amsterdam of the US we have lots of coffee and legal pot. And with all the techies, probably some unbelievable cars.
Hi Wagons Ho!
I've never tried nor will ever try that stuff! my best mate lived in Amsterdam Holland for 9 years and even though it's all legal there too, I had zero inclination to try it ! I'll have a choccy coffee thing with you though and I'd be much more interested in discussing the various awesome cars !
Cheers, Dennis!
Maybe we will cruise on over to Woodinville after the show and take a photo of the wagons in front of the distillery there. (For those following along at home, we have a reasonable craft distillery scene, coffee is a thing, and weed is legal too. )

Wagons Ho, I'll have to come up when the SC is done so we can install my twinscrew and hit the doublebubbler eh? So jealous you NEsterners can chong out legally.
I've tried 4 "gluten free" beers. IPA's, a lagger and a pilsner. I honestly couldn't tell the difference. Might be a thing...?

Northwesterners.
Dennis, for a guy to have liters of fine booze say "I'll never try the stuff" tells me you've never tried it. The one down side is you laugh at everything and have a busy mind full of really interesting (sometimes stupid) ideas you'll forget moments after having them. If you ever do try it, stick to Sativas over Indicas. Indicas make you slow and mellow while a good Sativa is a completely socially acceptable mood enhancer with no negative side-effects shy of some minor short-term memory loss for 3-4 hrs.
I eat mine and only after work with friends.
That said, WA now has a ton of fine distilleries making whiskey, bourbon, moonshine, and Vodkas. All beyond and wasted on me but if you show up, to each their own. No judgments. We have a massive selection of microbreweries too for those who prefer the pint glass.
I'd be honored to relax with a bunch of car nuts and learn some stuff, then quickly forget it.
The invitation is open to all.

If this is a downside to smoking/eating the stuff, then what's a 'positive' aspect to it?!! Short term memory loss? that doesn't sound 'fun' or something good i'd want to experience at all! I'm one of those where I'm fine with whatever anyone else wishes/wants to do, it's their choice and their thing to do. At university, a lot of our bunch of friends were smoking it and I do believe others were into more stronger things. Everyone would ask If I wanted some or wanted to try this that or the other - I'd just say, no, I don't fancy it nor wish to 'try' it in a similar way that I don't 'try' to get others to drink alcohol. In the US, Canada, UK and India, a lot of my relatives are medical doctors/specialists etc and I've discussed both sides of the subject, those against marijuana/weed and those who say there's no harm in it etc, and I still have zero inclination to try it! Even though we have quite a bit of Alcohol in the house, I hardly ever drink, if we have family relatives around, family friends and of course mates then yes, there's drinks poured but I'm not needing to have a drink every or every other evening to relax etc. I do like the side of collecting various bottles etc though and trying some of the different flavours/versions - the Laphroig is one of the ones very highly voted and regarded and I do want to get a bottle of what has been voted the best whisky in the world which is a Japanese one (forgot the exact name right now!)The one down side is you laugh at everything and have a busy mind full of really interesting (sometimes stupid) ideas you'll forget moments after having them. I like to learn about stuff and remember it
RSB - 'chong out' - haha! I'll remember that phrase!
Denigod - Please do that ! hopefully members will be able to remember to drive along to the location !
Cheers, Dennis!
