Cool Project: Heinrich Von Slammington My E32 build (Rusty's little brother)

Hello all I am very new to this forum and just as new of BMW owner. I've built many Japanese cars for both track use and just low and slow driving, and even though Japanese cars will always have my heart I've decided to branch out a bit.

BAM let me introduce you to Heinrich Von Slammington.

let me give you a little history of the car. It was purchased for my Fiance's little sister for her HS car, she graduated got older and married so it went to the younger brother well he got older and moved on to other cars. So this car sat here sat there sat a winter with a window down. Till finally I asked him if he'd sell me the rusty chrome wheels (for another project) he to my surprise said $200 and the whole thing is yours...... DONE.

160K ish miles, runs great, even has a fully functional SLS in the rear. the Bad however in the wear on the interior.

Needs a lot of cleaning but for what Im doing will work great.

    Ok so now my plans:
SLAM IT AS LOW AS POSSIBLE (any help on what coilovers to use would be great yes I know I need to remove the sls)
    Patina the hood
Possible removing carpet and doing a license plate floor
Shark paint for the sides already have stencils made
wooden roof rack (alrady made one)
and just because of my Japanese car roots a Boso exhaust.

this will be the exhaust tip.

bother in law drove on a flat tire so i hope the wheel is salvageable.

Pulled out all the trunk rubbish not sure what im gonna do back there but something cool

Well thats it for now thanks for looking, if anyone has info on the best coilovers to use or conversions id love to hear it
    CHEERS

More to come so check back in.

Well made a bit more progress over the weekend.

These seats are a pain in the patoot to remove but glad I did.

Its safe to say these have never been out of the car

Yep thats mold I guess sitting a winter with the windows down will do that.

Had to make an executive decision the mold growning all over the bottom pads beyond the means of cleaning it, I saved the back pad but trashed the bottom, needed weight reduction any way, just hopping the seats dont rattle when I put them back in.

    More soon

Good you trashed it, really no return from that kind of mold. I would pick up another set of seats.

The under side of the seats were actually quite clean, the leather however needs a deep deep clean.

The Car in general is sad, the fact it was neglected for so long hurts me

I'm intrigued to see the parts you use for this project keep it up man. Not into slamming myself. But I appreciate the project car aspect of it, check out schmiedmann coils I got a set front and rear they are nice also they are bolt on , no fancy modding required

Well there has been a slight delay, the rear wheel is in usable because it was driven on with a flat tire ( driven by previous owner) so now i'm on the hunt for new wheels. I did clean up the dash a ton and removed a TON of aftermarket audio rubbish.

    Small update:

Added a DIY front lip does it look rough and scroungy yep and I love it.

Picked these up for replacement wheels they ar 17x9 square, I'm waiting on spacers before I can mount them.

Heres a rough idea of how they will look.

also tore into the front suspension to see what I need to do to get that front end on the ground Ive decided to leave the auto leveling becasue its working and pretty sweet just need to drop the front end around 4in.

Side note the the front strut design on bmws are raccoon poop retarded.

Well the moment of truth, Plan A failed miserably attempting to just cut the front springs... not that I made it to low but that they wouldn't seat properly which is fine because I had a plan B already planned.

BEHOLD!!!! 240sx coil sleeve springs Without: coil sleeve, dust cover , and bump stops (they wouldn't fit)

Now sitting 4in lower in the front and the rear LAD system adjusted so when car in off it sits level.

Enjoy or hate on either way I love it

Subscribed. I'd never do this to my E32, but it was never neglected so badly either. I'm curious how it will turn out.

Thank you, and exactly if this car wasn't horrible neglected I would have bagged it on a nice set of wheels.

Well finally my vinyl came in and I have already ordered another set, my vinyl wrapping skills are not good appearently and there are a few spots that really bug me but I love the overall look.

Needs some wide black steelies or something, could look pretty cool with the right stance and wheels.

enjoying where this is going! E34s can be such an unforgiving chassis to work on, so this will be interesting.
