Are these worth getting over OEM brand to save $250 on OEM condenser and $150 on dryer? $345 vs $100 on condenser and $185 vs $35 on dryer. Anyone with experience can chime in please!

I just put a Nissens rad in my buddy's 530 and was pretty impressed with the quality.

I have a tad under 30K on a Nissens condenser and a Kenmore Receiver Drier ($53) with no issues. For parts like this I felt it was ok to go aftermarket (I usually go Genuine BMW on most parts, unless its a mod/upgrade). If I can squeeze another 30K out of them, I would be content. Back in 2014 I bought these parts at Pelican along with an A/C o-ring kit to make sure everything is sealed back up like new.
I replaced my a/c condenser with a Nissens 94157, which most sites advertise for the M3. HOWEVER, it only fits the following cars correctly: 1999 318i, 1998-99 318is, 1992-95 320i, and 95 M3. The mounting tabs for the fan shroud and two other tabs on the bottom will have to be tweaked to make it fit a 1996-99 M3. I can't find the correct part number which i got from the Nissens web catalog. I just had to bend the fan shroud tabs so they lined up with the holes in the shroud/radiator support and the two extra tabs at the bottom, I cut off. The flange for the refrigerant lines is fine. Maybe Nissens has corrected the issue now.

This is the PN of the one thats in my car: 64-53-8-373-004-M75. I remember seeing those reviews on pelican as well. It looks like there haven't been any new ones since I bought mine. For what its worth, I had no issues installing it. So here is another data point for ya.
I found the correct part number that I got from Nissens Web catalog last august. Nissens 94406. It fits just the 96-99 M3. I don't think it is available any longer and their catalog now lists 94157 for all M3.
Thanks for all your replies!
I've ordered the Nissens condenser and Kenmore drier.

Sorry to bump an old thread, how has your experience with it been after all these years? I see that it looks like my only option for condenser that isn't genuine bmw is this nissens sku 94157 which won't be a perfect fit but with some modification it can be made to. Has yours lasted long and was the modifications needed difficult?
