Yeah it's the exact same turbo I have. I bought the compressor wheel and machined cover from Turbo lab and had my local machine shop machine the center section for the bigger exducer. I rebuilt and assembled myself and I've been running between wastegate pressure of 35psi, up to 42psi so far.

You won't get 800whp out of the small backside. Well, at least not backed up by trap speed. Maybe, just maybe a Hail Mary pass before back pressure and overspinning smokes the journal bearing. You need more turbine wheel and housing. Well, that's assuming you add more fuel pump

Lets see, she was running door to door with a twin turbo srt8 jeep that was trapping 140mph on pump gas with the old turbo.

You have the 12 blade turbine wheel?

    Pump motors-

Only a couple variables to consider when it comes to a pump motor

Pressure-primarily driven by rotor torque. This is directly proportional to current but subject to rotor design efficiency
all things being equal, torque comes from pump length or diameter (current and efficiency)
brushless does not generate as much torque as brushed for a pump size
brushed generates heat from the brushes. The angle the current is triggered is mechanically fixed by the commutator brush interface. (Think distributor)
brushless is less efficient per amp as it relates to torque but because its electronically commutated it generates less heat.
too much heat damages pump motors and current makes heat and torque so pressure, torque and heat are intertwined.
brushless or brushed can have a wound rotor or wound stator. A wound rotor can get hot quicker because heat transfer is in the bushing rotor interface.
wound stators are the way to go if its a concern
Brushless frame size will be larger and cooler than a brushed motor delivering the same pressure (current) and flow (frequency or voltage).
Brushed is cheaper wears quicker but has allot less that can go wrong with it.
Brushless has built in speed and current control which means it can deliver only what is needed thus less heat and wasted power
Brushed can be pulsed for power on demand based on fuel pressure and/or flow with no real issues.

Its the age old argument of balancing simplicity against features, cost, and benefit. There is no clear winner. Brushless motors dont wear out brushes but brushes are allot better today than when brushless was invented.

The real difference is in dynamic pressure and flow demand changes.

+1 for 1/4 trap speed results.

Maybe ill start an FI Trap Speed thread that you could post your 1/4 mile slip and race weight in.

Good idea here! Best I've seen is 150 mph in the 1/4 bouncing off the limiter just before the stripe!

Whenever I think of buying a part or something I just look at the title of my thread, lol

Ordered a DSS driveshaft and akg solid mounts for the rear subframe as well as some other odds and ends needed to get the driveline ready for some abuse.

So i attempted to pull the engine on sunday, but it started to rain, so I packed up my tools, but not before I removed the valve cover and camshafts, everything looks clean.

Same here, also just bought some 15x10 wheels for the 26's im going to run, kinda on the fence about going with slicks or drag radials, i have a dss shaft on the way, and doing subframe reinforcements and m3 axles, I just want a 10 second pass, if I can get there with radials then id be happy becauseI dont want to put bias ply on the front.

Thanks! Funny thing is I was with a friend who has slicks on a set of 13's buying a moroso tire pressure gauge, and these wheels caught my eye, but everything is usually 2x the price in the speed shop than it is online, so when I saw the price less than what they run on the internet I had to buy them on the spot, even thougj my car doesn't run.

I have a pair of trailing arms , axles that I definitely have.
I think I have trailing arms. They would need to be rebuilt. With new bearings, backing plates and sh+%. They are New England weathered. You would want to build them up. Or I could do it for you. Blast them and paint + bearings and stuff. But would be cheaper if you did it. Don't know if you have a press and all the tools. I would need to verify the arms are for sale.
