I didnt put them side to side but the compressor housing the 369 seems considerably larger then the covers on my 366's. Ill put them side by side tonight.

You have cast wheel s366's right? The cast wheel s300's use different covers than the sxe turbos. I've never seen a s366sxe and s369sxe side to side but I was told it's the same cover just machined for the bigger wheel

Pretty sure alec has an sxe 66mm, ill say this though, the quality of the comp cover casting is crap on the borg, looks very rough.

I plan on getting on the dyno in the next couple weeks while I'm on break. I hope I'm at least 600. I'll be kinda sad if not lol, 21 psi from a 366sxe should have me north of 600 unless something is wrong with my set up..

Should be, jordan just tuned an s52 cammed m52, made 675whp at 22psi on e85.

With an old s366 and 3 inch downpipe/exhaust.

I have no self control, ended up putting the e36 on the back burner and bought an e39, as well as an e55 amg.

Haha, good luck with that conservative part!

Thinking of sort of taking your learnings from making power in the e36 and applying them to a slightly larger chassis that might handle the power differently/maybe better?

I am tempted by the E63 AMG biturbo AWD from around 2014. They can make 600 with just a tune and put the power down but they are heavy at 4400 lbs.

The first part of solving the issue is identifying that there's a problem.

The problem was likely that the E36 was overmodified and not comfortable and quiet enough.

It'll be interesting to see what he does to the E55. If he ends up having it trap 140, things might get interesting.

I would keep the E55 and dump the E39 if you are keeping the E36. 2 project cars gets old. The E55 should be great stock as a comfy cruiser that can get out of its own way and even better with a few bolt on mods. I have a lightly modded 08M3 that is my comfy cruiser. It handles great but you have to wind it out to get the power -- 8600 rpm limit so in manual trans form like mine you have to work it hard to play.
