Yeah it's definitely not for the faint of heart! I learned my lesson running slicks on the street, going over a small puddle changed my life forever! Lol
I just took my 275 15 M/T streets off and put my 17's back on, literally the first turn out of my neighborhood was a disaster lol - I miss traction.
Got the tires mounted and roadforce balanced, all four wheels took very little to balance.
I really like how they look on the car, 18x10 et 25 front, 18x10 et5 out back, 285/30r18 square.
Now to swap the engine out for a rodded 2.8, throw a new clutch disc in, and LET'R EAT.
I like

Was det a factor here?
I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that it was just too many boosts (all of them) pretzeled the rod which got tangled with either the crank or block and then turned everything in #6 to confetti.

I'm just wondering because he is on a single 450 I think? And at 35# from his big turbo I'd be thinking he could be north of 800whp and I don't think a single 450 is adequate for 800 on e85.
So a stock M50 is not reliable to 750 rwhp?
yea stock
Lol lets try it
Probably
It was 35psi lol
Yea couldve been an issue.
Shocking haha.
Im getting a nasty itch for this car again, can't wait to dive back into it.
You must be a god at pulling these out by now.

97 Turbo 3.2L M3 - Cutring / ARP - RSI Top Mount - Gt4088r - ID1300 - Tial WG - 22RPD Tuned - 93 Octane - 3.5" Stainless
Got some updates, Ive been parts collecting to get ready.
Got a low mileage non vanos head sent out to WRE and fully redid the head front to back.
New cutring hg (no spacer)
Sent out the clutch to a local shop to repad the 3 puck disx and resurface the pressure plate, he also swapped out the friction plate on my aluminium flywheel.
With all hardware the clutch setup weighs in at 24lbs.
Also picked up a magnafuel 750 fuel pump, 115lb injectors, and a rally road fuel rail.
Doing -8an feed and return.
Now to assemble everything and dial it in because i took vacation for the street car takeover event in north Carolina at Zmax in June.
I'll post pictures soon.
Feed and return shouldn't really need to be the same size. I think Matt Happel is using something like a 5/16" factory line for his return on his over 1000whp E85 truck. -10 or -12 feed, I can't remember exactly.
If you have a big enough pump and no way to control the speed it can overrun the regulator and having a small return line makes it worse. On mine when I switch on my second pump at idle the fuel pressure goes up 3 or 4 psi with a -8 return
