Is there an adaptive throttle reset procedure for that car?

You wrote that you checked the connections to the Batteries.
Did you also checked the two flat fuses in the main plus cables? (Fusible Links)
Many owners had all sorts of strange problems due to fine cracks in those Fuses.
Here is a Link regarding this Problem.
    Hope it helps. Good Luck.

Air leakages? Deteriorated rubber pipes or crack on the VCV valve?
(Sorry if I suggest something, which is already checked.)
I only know the V8s. Can the M70 be checked with INPA to show uneven cylinder running?
That helps a lot with the V8 to pinpoint which cylinder acts up.

I don't understand 56 LBS? Do you mean 56 PSI?? If so it's way to high and you FPRs are shot

oops ya .. psi. maybe thats my problem. i thought that was normal going in the rails. it was low 40's going out of the regulators. i'll go swap those right now with the good car. thanks

That does not sound right. Coming out of the FPR's is going straight back to the fuel tank, there should not be much pressure in that line unless you have a blockage which might explain why your pressure going into the fuel rails is higher than normal (~ 37psi at idle and 42 at wot).

If you are measuring 56psi fuel pressure at the hoses feeding fuel rails something is wrong. It should be about 37psi when idling. You should be able to blow into the return hose (feeds into the gas tank) with little resistance. Without the vacum lines attached to the FPR's the fuel pressure should increase to about 43psi (intake vacuum lowers the fuel pressure).

sorry i got that wrong... my buddy corrected me last night. "37 and 39". Don't ask me where i got the fifty from. To be honest i'm going in circles on this car and i'm starting to forget what I've done already. My mistakes are starting to cause me more work.
okay so i swapped the fuel pump and regulators. also checked the fuel rails and checked all the injectors. Nothing has changed. I'm still thinking it has something to do with electrical/spark. The more i drive it around the city the more i am noticing a gas smell on occasion. Not all the time but just a bit. Its almost like its not all burning off.
Also, Has anyone had their petentiometer need replacing? What are the symptoms when is goes?

so this afternoon I checked all the gaps on the spark plugs and reinstalled everything. Still no improvement. I took it for another run and It definitely feels like I'm flooding the engine. I'm determined to figure this out. Here is some video too

Is your idle going up and down on its own or you are revving it?

I was revving it. It back fired too. The second is foot to the floor but it feels like I have an extra 2 tonnes of weight in the car.

While laying in bed... I just had one of those lightbulb moments and it's not a good one. The reason I initially had to do all the work was because the shop I took the car to replace the water pump didn't clamp the coolant pipe that runs down the engine. Even after I printed out the post on this forum with the proper procedure. The pipe let go while I was driving home one evening and I had to tow the car home. That's when I ordered all the parts to fix it myself.

Since the issue I'm having is power loss and it doesn't seem specific to a single side, I'm now wondering if I had engine damage from all the coolant leaking out. This is not the answer I want but it does seem possible now. I did notice yesterday that the #5 and #10 spark plug seemed really black and dirty compared to the rest and they have very little kms on them.

Would this not throw any codes? Is a compression test my next step?

I don't think thats, it. What diagnostics system are you using?
I am still not convinced on the fuel system, you said you got brand new fuel assembly?
If so why is the psi is different on one bank?

Gt1. The fuel pump was under 5000kms when I transferred it from the other car to this one. Also The car ran perfect until the coolant leak. I know with these cars anything could happen and it could be just coincidence so I still have my hopes for something else.

Is a 2 psi difference that much? What would you suggest I do?

I was considering rebuilding the old fuel pump with the method on a post here. I think it actually might have been yours too. I have access to a shop here so I still might just get the compression test done to rule it out before I start to dump anymore money into it.

When you are saying fuel pump, keep in mind, there are 2 of them inside the assembly. Just think about this for a second, FPR is a mechanical device that regulates pressure, so if one side is registering at 2 PSI less than regulated pressure that means this is all that fuel pump is capable of putting out at idle not even talking about WOT. So you either have a weak pump, bad leak inside the carrier or clog in the filters.
I suggest following my sticky thread to rebuild the pump carrier with new pumps, however now days I would actually suggest using Walbro pumps instead sold here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Walbro-GSS34...53.m1438.l2649

Also can you connect the multi meter the fuses 23 and 24 and ground and tell me the voltage you are getting when the car is on?
