No Launch Control?

Gotta say, I'm a bit surprised and a bit disappointed. I just got my CPO 2013 650i Gran Coupe M Sport and I love it. However, from what I read online, I would expect it to have launch control. It also says nothing about it in the onboard manual.

Here's the process I'm trying:
1. Change mode to Sport+
2. Drop the shifter into "S"
3. Press the brake to the floor w/ left foot
4. Press throttle past the kickdown until I feel it push the button on the floor.

I would expect to see the checkered flags in the instrument cluster, but I don't. I also feel the car trying to push through the brakes, so I'm concluding that I don't have launch control. Have I missed something or does my model just not have it?

Not sure about the newer models but with the E63/E64's you have to press the DTC button, the sport button and put the gear lever into manual mode before holding the brake
