I am selling my Hellrot on black 96 M3 with a working S54 swap. I have owned for the last 6 years, been a great car but it is time for me to move on. Been a great car and it runs excellent, no error codes, tons of maintenance on the motor, and lots of work to the rest of the car (records for the last 5 years). Swap was completed about 1.5 months ago, car has just over 1k miles on it with the swap. Interior is in excellent shape, exterior is solid for a 20 year old car with 241k miles (RF bumper corner scuffed up, a few little dings & rock chips). Asking $15k for it, PM me or text/call at 36o-77o-9o86.

Essentially I got the motor swap complete with updated suspension and new tires but the car is just a bit too rough for me (a bit noisy, normal e36 squeaks/rattles, no AC). I have been too spoiled by an X5 with much nicer interior.

What happened to the interior? Would be a millionty times more awesome if still had Modena. Also, who did the swap?
1999 M3
2001 525iA
2007 F150 Sold
1995 M3 Sold
1987 528e Sold
1985 325e Sold
The interior looked like the PO left Cujo in there all day, you saw about as much foam as leather.
I did the swap myself along with the maintenance.
Any chance it is OBD2 compliant? (i.e. will it pass a DEQ test?)
No idea what the DEQ test is. It has the factory cats and all 4 O2 sensors still so it should sniff really clean. The OBD2 port still reads, do they just test to see if there are any errors?
Yeah, they check for readiness of the system and to see if there are any codes.
Shouldn't be hard to get it to pass that.
This build is sweet, hope it goes to a good new owner ?
