    Changing gears automatically while driving

    Hello I have a 2008 bmw 1 series 116. While driving the car automatically shifts gears, slows down or not move if I've stopped and attempt to pull off. The gearbox is in drive the entire time but somehow it's seems as if it keeps changing gears. Any ideas on what's happening here??!?

    I don't understand the question. Automatic gearboxes are designed to automatically shift the gears.

    Is it causing problems - if so, in what way?
