Cool Best method to remove paint/polish? (just picked up black m-pars)

    Hey bf.c,

I just picked up a set of these black m-pars that I want to put onto my car... I want to remove the black paint, and have them look like this:

    Here's how mine look...

But one wheel has this =[

What are my options to get my wheels to look like the ones in the first pic?

    Media blasting? Aircraft stripper?

What is the polishing process... How long does it usually take?

Do shops do this? How much does it usually cost?

Let me know what you think!

    Best,
    JP

I just did a set of wheels for my car that were gun metal and I painted them black. I sanded the first 2/and then used paint stripper on the rear wheels. It was a pain in the ass but they came out good.... But go get them sand blasted. You will save time and money in the end. I spent at least 150$ and spent probably 30 hour's prepping them for paint.

Sand blasting is the best way to go for perfect results ? and I'm all about doing it the cheap way man. But I know I would have saved money if I took them in for a blast. Paint stripper is your next best bet. Sanding sucks..... But mine were aftermarket powder coated wheels.
