    ► APEX | New Wheel: 18x9” ET30 (Concave!) ARC-8 Group Buy

New Wheel: APEX 18x9" ET30 ARC-8 Group Buy

Everyone loves the deep concave face of the APEX ARC-8 wheel line, but not everyone is willing to squeeze overly wide wheels and tires under their car’s fenders just to get that look.

Introducing our newest ARC-8 fitment: the 18x9.0” ET30. Now you can run a wheel width and offset that retains all of the concavity of your favorite wheels without having to run camber plates, roll/flare fenders, or deal with any rubbing. These are perfect for E46 and E9X Non-M owners.

If you’ve looked at our popular EC-7 18x9” ET31 wheels and wished that size was available in the ARC-8 design, then this is the fitment for you. To participate in this Group Buy, you can either buy a pair of the new wheels on their own (2 wheels total) or you can choose a pair of our existing 18” ARC-8 wheels to compliment a pair of the new 18x9.0” ET30 ARC-8 (4 wheels total).

Want to see how they look?

The new 18x9.0” ET30 wheels look almost identical to the 18x9.5” ET35 ARC-8. They both share the same Profile 3 concave face; the new 9.0” ET30 wheel simply fits easier than it’s 9.5” ET35 brother.

Haha. I should have held off just a bit longer in replacing my 18x8.5 ET38s up front! I replaced them with 18x9.5 ET35s (thanks to you and your team for helping me out), but have to run a 5mm spacer and camber to fit them properly. The 18x9 ET42 is too high an offset, so these 18x9 ET30s should be Goldilocks (i.e., "just right") for the E367/8 platform!!!

Thanks for the kind words, we're always happy to help

This is a great point to bring up because on the Z3 it really goes right to the specific reason we decided to made this wheel. Our 18x9.5 ET35 is a great wheel... if you can fit it. Now since you have specifically TC Kline brand coilovers, inner strut clearance is less of an issue than for many others. Owners who have certain coilovers (Some ST, KW, H&R, PSS9 and PSS10, BC, etc) that have a large strut-body or large front spring, they have a lack of strut clearance and will have issues with 9.5"ET35 and need to run an 12mm spacer, or a ET22 wheel. At that point, race camber settings are required!

The 18x9et30 will still 'poke out' to the same spot an 18x9.5et35 does and have the same concavity, but it will have 1/2inch more inner strut clearance! This size was previously available in our EC-7 and PS-7 designs only. Now with our latest ARC-8 you can still get a nice size tire up front, and your suspension options are much more open, without the need for spacers.

hopefully this gains a lot of interest. 9" in the front seems much more ideal than the 9.5" setup
