    I highly recommend Mickey ET Street S/S drag radial. I just cut a 1.64 60ft in a 3885lb e91. Love the tire!

I was just about to say... That's quite a bit of torque to get that pig moving.

About the sane here. Working on the kids part... But, I've been enjoying the hell out of 6.7 powerstroke with a few parts missing.

I had to move the carpet over next to the car while I was working on it because the fawn dog wanted to watch. Not long after, I turn around and there are two dogs.

Not much to report. I literally moved to work, so I don't commute anymore. That said, I still have a couple thousand miles on this car since picking it up from Maximum PSI. Took it to the park the other day with the dogs in tow. I try to keep the paint clean, but the dogs keep the back seat a bit dirty. I run errands, bank, food shopping, home supply store, etc. I pretty much always go across the bridge when I leave so I reach 4th gear with my foot still in. Haven't been back to Atco since getting an alignment and new tires. Maybe soon. Also, my home supply of e71 is getting low. I heard that e86 is coming out of the tap now-a-days. =) Look forward to seeing how the car adapts to the "high test".

Got a fresh batch and mixing with the old, in-tank. Figure I'd let the ECU adjust a little before e85 is in use. Plan is to see how it performs in the 1/4 at Bimmerfest a couple weeks from now.

The clutch I bought the car with does not seem to release at high RPM as quickly as I would like. So, I went with this unit from Maximum PSI. I've heard good things.

I conjured my inner-Perry, but I'm calling it a day. Should be able to test drive tomorrow night.

You're sure it isn't a hydraulic issue? I was having high epm disengagement issues and it was my slave /worn rubber clutch line.

Yup, pretty sure it's not a hydraulic issue. Everything looks solid on the car. We'll find out soon. Finished up earlier today but it's raining. Not a fan of driving this car in the rain.

The clutch/flywheel combo is indeed quite heavy. I wanted to weigh it, but forgot to. I even already re-used the box if shipped in (I could have grabbed the weight off the shipping label). I'm guessing it's in the 40 pound range.

Once thing that's noticeable so far is the resistance on the clutch pedal. I'm sure everything will like the decreased load. (including my knee!)

Installed the new clutch and broke it in on the way to Bimmerfest. I like it better than the outgoing single disc clutch. Also, no more release issues. Held tight and shifted smooth.

As often the case with me, my first run of the day was my best. Not to say I have any good slips to show for it. The track didn't seem prepped well, and spun a lot, but still had fun trying!
