I must share my first impressions of the Stage two E85/E70 Maximum PSI turbo kit. It's fast. Really fast.
I don't have the best tires on the car, but now need to find the best. For comparison, I have a turbo ti that I ran a 10.9 in. The e46 m3 feels more radical than my ti. I can't wait to take it to the 1/4 mile, but in the meantime, I'll just enjoy driving it around town.
Mike buttoned up my ti a few years ago and I have over 20k miles on it without a hick up. I have well over 100 passes at the 1/4 and beat on it every time it's out. I'm sure the e46m3 will be no different. Everything is so smooth: Start up, idle, ease of driving. If you're not into the throttle, you can't tell you're driving a beast. Keep your foot all the way in, and you can spin the tires through the first 3 gears. This will definitely take some getting used to in order drive it "fast".
I have a couple spots that I keep a baseline on all the cars I've driven over the years. One locations is a 1/2 mile long hill climb. The m3 surpassed the top speed of any other car by 10 MPH and I wasn't fully into it. This car takes you to an insane speed faster than you can imagine.

I've always wanted an E46 M3, white with cinnamon interior.
This stage 2 kit looks awesome. I surely wouldn't want to park my pos next to that beauty.

The engine bay is immaculate, awesome car!
Awesome... I've been looking into that kit on that car aswell... Very cool... Man, my driving endorphins are rushing just thinking about that boosted S54
Definitely NOT a $2000 budget build thread,
so we're not very interested.
Sad to hear you spent so much money on this.

I seen this beast last week while picking my car up. Now if only the turbo kit fit into the e36 swap without many changes.

The amount of power that the FULLY STOCK S54 can hold still blows my mind. No head studs, no head gasket. I think mikes held 650 wtq for a while. Have you hit the dyno yet?
Dude.. $25k for that car?? DO IT!! Then ship it to Mike for ethanol upgrades.

It really is insane that all this power comes from an unopened S54. Mike of course dyno'd the car before giving it back to me. Said dynamometer picture can be viewed here:

For comparison, he's the same dyno with a stock e92 M3 on it. I like this comparison because I showed it to the buddy of mine who took me with him for European Delivery on his. =)

If he can answer his e-mail... I need to book a transport, or take a fly and a road trip back... but I probably already sold my E36, for damn cheap, but if it can make me buy this MaxPSI E46, I don't care !
What kind of miles you got on this thing?
I have 86k miles on the car right now. That will go up as I collect fire wood, pick up supplies for home remodeling/dog food and take the pup to the park.
